Dare I say: Eli's BETTER than Romo?

I know, it's blasphemous!! But think about it.
That DOOFUS can march his team downfield for the
tying TD, & 2 pt conversion.

He's done it in the Super Bowl for gosh sakes!

We have yet to see Romo pull one out when it really matters!

Right now, Eli's playmaking in the clutch is the difference
between him & Romo!

Now excuse me, while I go throw up!!!!!!!!

I guess you missed the 4th quarter last night? Our defense makes one stop and we most likely win that game.

Did you see even the OT? He nearly lost the game and couldnt complete crap. The running game won it.

Eli does a great job of not making costly mistakes to hurt his team. Just hand it to the running backs and get out of the way.

um, what?

Eli didn't do **** in this game. Ward and Jacobs were the reason the Giants won tonight.

Eli Manning is NOT better than Romo
Eli Manning's supporting cast is better than Romo's

If the Cowboys played with even half the intensity and desire to win that the Giant's played with tonight, they could beat ANYONE...but we just don't have it :(

It's consistency in the running game. We don't have it. Teams that do well this time of year need that. We haven't consistently run the ball since the mid to late 90s.

Well not only that but he must have missed Eli tonight. He missed some open receivers on simple routes. Look Eli has a great running game, great offensive line. Romo doesn't have either right now. Romo>>>>>Eli.

Eli is certainly better than Romo right now, and only delusional Cowboys fans would suggest otherwise. To argue that Eli has a stronger supporting cast is absurd. He does a great job of not imploding, which is something Romo has yet to master.

Honestly, I'm not sure Romo could do the same under those
circumstances!
Eli's a DOOFUS- but he gets it done!!

what game were you watching?

youre talking about 1 single drive

in the 4th and all the way into overtime he over threw recievers for what would have been easy 1st downs. the giants run game came up big late. i live in ny and watch every giants gm andf when hes put in spots where he has to be a playmaker consitently he struggles. eli is not a great playmaking qb that i give romo over him. eli is a bonified game manager. he manages the game very well, but to do so he needs his run game to play how it did tonight most nights

you put romo on the giants where he can hide behind that run game and gilbride safe play calling the giants are a better team then they are now. the reason why eli prospered late last yr was cause kenvin simplified the offense for eli. he tried to make eli into how romo is a, a play making qb and he struggled mightly. it wasnt until he threw in more short passing patterns and became even more run heavy that eli prospered. thats no secret here in ny its well noted. you watch tapes of the giants in the 1st half of last season and then the end youll understand exactly what im talking about

i got die hard friends here that hate on the cowboys but all them say the same thing, eli couldnt run our offense. he would struggle and they all think romo is a better qb/ put romo on nyg their better at worse just as good. put eli on the cowboys and were no where near as good as a offense as we have been since he was here

Sure you can say it. Doesn't mean everyone will agree with you.

I like Tony, but I'd like to see some killer instinct.

Manning and Romo are 2 different types of QB with 2 completely different approaches to the game. Eli is a bus driver who is under orders to make safe throws and let his running game carry the load. Romo is on a team with a pass happy coordinator that doesn't respect the running game and who enables his reckless sand lot approach to the game. Eli is unlikely to put the game on his shoulders--his running game does that, and if you rattle him he can start to throw picks.

Romo can have fantastic games where he looks like a magician, but because he does not have any discipline and nobody to give him any, he has become a reckless turnover machine as of late. He has repeatedly had the chance to make positive safe plays, but instead he lobs the ball 60 yards down field into double coverage for an INT.

I agree but who knows if Eli is really better.

Like I've said, what the Cowboys are missing is consistancy. It's the most underrated aspect in sports, period.

If you have a QB that can go out and give you one TD, 190 yards and no interceptions (not that this is what Eli does) game in and game out, most coaches would take that over a guy that will throw 3 TD's an 300 yards one game and then 1 TD, 3 ints and 175 yards the next.

And that can go for every single position on a football team.

I am not trying to excuse Romo. However, I don't see anything all that special in Eli Manning. Sorry, I just don't. The Giants OL can protect Manning. Our OL is weak. I never see Eli do anything other than drive the bus. He doesn't make big plays, and why should he? He has the rest of his team to do it (i.e. the RB's)

There is nothing spectacular about handing the ball off to someone else saying "Here ya go!"
