Darn math isn’t working

So let’s see, based upon the threads the last few days, we have a lower tier coaching staff (bottom 10) and a lower tier roster (bottom 15).

for some reason, being a math guy, I can’t make that compute to 12-5 and a division title, even if we were the 6th best team in the nfc.

Can you guys explain how it all works ?

I guess our punter was worth 5-6 wins.

Philly made the playoffs. skins went 7-10....not great, but average...yes, giants suck...but so do Jax, Houston, Detroit, Jets and carolina

Sure, NYG + Teamers were not top 25 football teams. Philadelphia was higher, but still below Dallas. Give a team a 6 win head start and they're probably making the playoffs even with those rankings you stated.

The difference is they all arent in the same division. Houston and Jax is, and that led to Tennesee undeservingly getting the number 1 seed in the AFC.

many one score or less losses so lets not forget that

mistakes not talent lost us these big games

TB lost by 2 on the road SB champs
Raiders lost by 3 not with some beery questionable officiating
AZ-lost by 3 also late questionable calls and no calls
KC SB runner up 10 on the road

SF got torpedoed again by 14 penalties but lost by ONLY 6

you realize how close these games were acting as if we count have won them thats the OPs fault we played toe to toe with all the winning teams on our schedule and just made too many mistakes to overcome them.

we bare good team who cant stop shooting ourselves in the foot..the fact we lost by the slimmest margins playing poorly shows how much talent we have not the opposite.,

have to clean that up in the playoffs for sure.

Ding ding ding. We have a winner. Mediocre teams inflate their status and look better than they are by beating up on bad teams. The Cowboys took full advantage of a cream puff regular season and did a #2 in the bed as soon as it mattered against a good team.
