Man, I like Darnold, but when did Dak play with the #1 NFL Defense, and top 10 running game, and the #1 receiver in the league all at the same time? That's right. He didn't.

We have team-wide issues, basically every unit besides offense sucks. That's not a simple, "we need a new QB scenario."

Dak chokes while the defense is choking and the running games getting stuffed. Seems like the entire Dallas Cowboys team has too many holes, plus we've been flatout out-coached by the 49ers, Lions, Packers when it counted most, period. Cowboys suck for multiple reasons.

Dak's no Peyton Manning, but he's been a steady top-10 guys most of his career and probably could of done what Darnald did with that stacked Chickenhawks roster.

The 2016 Cowboys were pretty good. 13 pro bowlers. Best RB in the league. 2022-2024 Cowboys were also pretty good on D at times - led the league in turnovers for one year, but injuries decimated them at key times. And also, Dak CHOKED when the D held SF to 19 points. IN FACT, Dak GAVE THEM POINTS by giving them short fields.

Dak's no Peyton Manning is an understatement. But you how do know denigrate Darnold's performance last year? How did he win 14 games with Minnesota? Completely different personnel, new offensive lingo, new team and city...

but BETTER RESULTS?

ok, now you are switching gears to something different...this was about Darnold and the lover affair of a few here. you are now changing the context to Dak and bad management!!

simply put....Darnold is good, not great. he is on his 5th team. 5 teams, coaches thought they want to go somewhere else than with him.

and I never said Dak was great, or did great....you just want to go there and argue about something you feel confident about.

yes, as the 2nd seed they choked against SF. Dallas in general has a tendency to choke. we had the 1st seed one year with Romo and choked it away.


let me ask. is wins and losses a QB stat since you threw that out there?

I would give my first born for a defense like seattle. give me defense, all day. all night and 8 days a week. who cares about the QB. give me a defense that can keep opponents to 17 points and I give you a guaranteed 11 win team.

I take an OK QB for 30 million.

but that's on Jerry. he screwed up multiple times with Dak. because jerry is an idiot.

and we had 65M on the cap last year and finished with 25M available on the cap. so cap is not an issue. people tend to get hung up on contract value. once its done. its done. put a team together and cap hasn't been an issue, but Jerry has. he couldn't put a team together when Dak was on a rookie contract.

On this we agree!!! The Head Dak Shoe Shiner - not you, another poster - kept on proclaiming on threads "Get ya money Dak!" and now is whining about Dak's lack of support. Actually spends most of his time trying to move the goalpost to Best Runner Up as a team award.

This is the thing that boggles my mind! Dak always wanted to be the highest paid QB. Period. Dak's agent walked away from negotiations because Dak started off hot his contract year. He did it again to get a shorter turnaround on the deal. The only leverage Jerry really had was to LET DAK WALK.

But if Jerry let Dak walk, yall would blame him for that too!

I get that Jerry is a horrible GM...gotcha. But what kind of COMPETITOR IS DAK for valuing money over championships? "The brotherhood" my !#@$#@

I don't need to vent, but I am on a ...mission...to remove all soft landings for Dak. Anyone offering aid and comfort might catch some shots that are not meant for them lol...

By why you standing so close to the Stans if you're not with them?

You see all of Darnold's flaws, you also think Dak is overpaid...??? Bruh, you are minimizing what Darnold has accomplished in 2 STRAIGHT YEARS in order to pump Dak up. Period.

Uhhh...check the threads. It's not hard to knock Dak...Drake Maye has passed him. Darnold. Jayden Daniels. The list goes on. QBs who don't choke automagically.
