Video: Daron Bland had a terrible game

If Bland gets the pick 6. It’s might have changed everything. You can’t blame Parker for Bland’s play.
It definitely would have changed the whole outlook of the game and no you can't blame Parker for that but you can blame him for everything else. This defense is worse than last year's and I didn't think that was possible.

He's looked lost and uninspired all season. He would have intercepted that ball for a pick six.

You pay this guy a fortune because of one lucky year, because QBs were throwing right to him, but that LB that was getting held every play, who was the reason these QBs timing was off, you don’t want to pay him..

That year was an anomaly. Call it for what it is..

The defense is bad no doubt but the Cowboys paid Bland a top end salary to get that pick 6. 3 years ago that was an easy house call for him. Bland has fallen off completely.

Bland falling down more and more,.......like a kid on his first pair of roller skates or first time at the ice rink. Like Grandpa going to the mailbox without his walker. Technique, technique, technique.

Towards the end of the game he did have an ankle taped up.

But yeah, not sure if his feet are actually bothering him, or if the injuries have taken something away or if he is just afraid of hurting them again.

As far as the video from no name:
1. Yep, he fell. Just like last week he bit. The trend is that he gives up 1 big play a game now. No defending that. But outside of those big plays, he is still providing solid coverage. And I stand by that.

2. That 21 yarder. Another soft zone where CP didnt dial up any kind of pressure. Daniels had 8 seconds to throw. He hit the guy right over Reddy Stewart and right in front of Bland. You give a qb that much time and he will find someone open.

3. Really? Called it a bad play just because he dropped the interception? How about it being a good pass breakup on a critical 3rd down?
Yes, a pick 6 would have been awsome and icing on the cake, but he did his job.
Your name says it all. You are blind. Bland is garbage

Please put him back to the slot.
Won't matter. Whatever happened to him has already happened. No chance he has the quickness to play man slot at this point.i don't get why people go back to how he played years ago in the slot before his All Pro season even and assume he can be better in the slot today. He just stinks. There is no position he can play at this point

I think something is wrong with his feet. He can't play on his toes anymore. He's playing on his heels and any quick move and he seems to be on the ground. Maybe neuropathy?
I think I have a little bit of it. Concussions can cause it. Even microconcussions. Other things can cause it as well ofc. For me it’s being kicked in the head sparring in Muay Thai/MMA class. He could’ve easily gotten it from the hits in football or it could be an issue from the foot surgeries

One of the many downfalls of this team is believing every player who comes back from a major injury, will always revert back to their capabilities prior to their injury. What they fail to recognize is that the majority do not and when it doesn't happen they take, we'll give it one more year removed to return to your previous form, then two years, then three years. Then they finally realize they will never return and by that time, you wasted 4 years at that particular position. We've seen it time and time again, whether it's their own players, draft picks, or high draft picks they pickup through FA. It gets worst when said player has a single breakout year before their next contract and we overpay on potential and not production.

Even Dak's contracts. When they had the leverage (twice) to resign for much less, they waited to the last minute and let the market dictate the overpayment.

I understand QB contracts are their own thing. Every single one is overpriced with maybe 3-4 that are anywhere close to being paid what they are worth. But leave it to the Cowboys to take this stupid approach to signing their own FAs (i.e., wait until everyone else sets the market and then jump in). Personally, I think the one time they got it right, is with Parsons...unfortunately the GM, didn't fully know how to maximize on it, and was hamstrung with all the other stupid contracts and trade decisions made prior to it.

Which brings me to my final point, the GM and front office has no plan, zero, nada, zilch, on what they are trying to build. All they ever do is over react to the previous failure, instead of stepping back and saying let's build out a 3-5 year plan and execute it based on who we plan to keep (coaches and players) what we want our philosophy and culture to be, and do not stray away for the plan. Add to that a front office that has zero accountability and can brush off every mistake with a mea culpa, I'll do better next time, but hey did see how much the Cowboys are worth!!! "We can't be doing everything wrong, the world still loves us".

Worst of all, the Joneses rushed to re-sign the guy a year earlier than they needed to.

Why? Because they thought they were getting a ‘deal’ because they got him for less than top of the market.

They’ve done the same with several re-signing mistakes, like Diggs, Steele, and Ferguson as well.

If they think they’re getting a bargain, they’ll pay ‘their guys’ sooner and for far more money than they’re worth.
Yup, did it with Jaylon Smith and Gallup too….they think outsmart everyone and get players for a discount early or after an injury…..and they basically never are worth it. I swear too many players we extend ends up being weak sauce. Same with some of these people we trade for or sign from other teams recently….they all play WORSE after they get here.

Yeah he’s clearly compromised. He can’t even stay up on his feet. He’s constantly slipping and falling whenever he tries to react to the wr making a move.

Cowboys just have the worse luck with injuries. Dude don’t have an injury history and get one injury and they’re compromised forever as a cowboy. It’s either a constant nagging injury( or something they never recover form
