Darren McFadden: 'I'm going to do whatever the Cowboys need'

McFadden is talented and is still capable of filling in for Zeke whenever the need presents itself. He's not trying to replace him but wants one and all to be aware that he's willing to do whatever is needed to help the team. Nothing wrong with that that I can see. The guy has value and wants to play in any capacity that is required. He still has his speed, vision, can block solidly and is willing to contribute in any capacity he's asked to. Sounds good to me.

I like him!
Raider fans are besides themselves after seeing his miraculous durability he exhibits while wearing the star,,,,( ones I've talked to are passed miffed and proceeded straight to being pissed)

With good reason -- Raider's fans are seeing someone that their team rejected being used to great advantage by the Cowboys. Stuff like that makes me glad I'm not a Raider's fan. Perhaps if they had improved their OL while McFadden was there, they'd still have him around? ;)

Agreed. Can he stay healthy...thats always been the biggest knock on Mcfadden. Durability.

Very true, although he's been able to serve the Cowboys well when called upon.

Our Dallas O-line affords him some pretty nice protection, it seems. :)
Raiders fans are seeing it and the green monster appears.:muttley:

Cowboys must resist the urge to hand Zeke the ball 400 times this season. As big and strong as he is, he can wear down like any other RB. It would be a terrible shame to shorten the career of an asset that could make the Cowboys contenders for the next ten years.

McFadden had proven his ability to be very productive. Once they wear down a defense sufficiently with Zeke, they could cause further damage by bringing out McFadden.

It's no wonder he wants to stay. This offense will extend his career by limiting his wear and tear. Should he stay healthy, he will have a very nice season, perhaps a thousand yards for the backup averaging ten carries a game.
