It's more than that. There are former Cowboy players like Harvey Martin who deserve to be in. Knowing who did and didn't vote for him would be very telling. Believing one player over another belong because they are more deserving is ok. But trying to justify Martin for not getting in after decades of waiting is a far more difficult challenge.

I'm not getting my hopes up. I feel like we are all going to be disappointed, yet again. The HOF is a joke!! There is clearly a bias against the Cowboys. No way he shouldn't already be in. I still have Woody's jersey.

Woody's getting jobbed. Not a single reason on why he isn't in. He is a good man who played the game the right way and contributed to SB's in a leadership role on a stingy defense. Some sorry men in the hall and this man is left out. A travesty for sure.

Harvey Martin was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1977.

Co-MVP of Super Bowl XII.

Voted to the 1970's All Decade Team.

Still the All Time NFL Post Season Sack Leader with 17.5.

Had a 23(or 20.5 depending on the source) Sack Season in a 14 Game 1977 Year.

Either Led or was Second in for Leading his Team in Sacks for 10 Consecutive Seasons from 1973-1982 on a Defense that had Randy White and Ed "Too Tall" Jones on it never having less than 8 in a Season.

Retired in 1983 as the Dallas Cowboys All Time Sacks Leader with 114(Demarcus Ware now has this) on a Defense with Bob Lilly,George Andrie,Jethro Pugh,Randy White and Ed "Too Tall" Jones on it.

4 Time All Pro. 4 Pro Bowls. Super Bowl Champion.

And for reasons never been explained is not in the NFL Hall Of Fame.
