The guy I was arguing with said that we needed a NT that could get better pressure up the middle. I'm saying you're not going to find a better one than Ratliff.

For some reason, you seem to think that my original statements ridiculing this scott guy applied to some other argument you've made. They don't.

That is not at all what I stated. I am a huge fan of Jay Ratliff. I never suggested replacing the guy. Only supplementing what he brings to the defensive front.

Ignoring the bulk of what I actually stated says plenty. Your inability to comprehend the term "complement" also comes off as extremely dim-witted. Nothing new there.

He said that he has worked with both bigger and smaller NTs and has had good luck with both, it just depends on the player.

Repeating your version of what Wade said over and over will never make it the truth.

Have to agree with you, I heard him say the same thing. He big pretty big NTs in Buffalo and San Diego.

I think getting bigger and more athletic at LB is more urgent then replacing Ratliff, though we do need a backup there.

I agree with him. Not complaining about Rat, but he'd be an even better play at DE then he is at NG.

I agree as well. I'm not sure how long Ratliff is going to put up with being shuffled around but I think he would be best utilized splitting time between NG and DE. He can do both so why not move him around?

I understand that. But those are both a large part of what they do (and the only major criticism against our current NT and safeties) and to say that these are the "main things" the Cowboys need to fix seems pretty far from the truth because of it.

This team doesn't have to many weaknesses.

I would put NT, Safety, and OL as our top priorities right now.

Get a big huge NT, (whch we all know good ole wade likes smaller NTs) to clog the middle and let the outside LInemen like spers and canty makes plays. He also suggested moving Ratliff to outside and let him make plays.

Next, he said, biggest thing to him, get a safety that can play and stay healthy.

Talked about championships and players learning what their roles were and being content to win championships not be the prima donna players on offense, :starspin

I would like to see us draft someone like Ron Brace from BC in the second, he could be a stout force in the middle like the Steelers have in Casey Hampton, then we could slide Jay over from DE on 3rd downs. Ratliff could be our Aaron Smith to Brace's Hampton.

I have to agree... A true NT and ball hawk safety are the biggest needs on defense. Also another inside linebacker that play alongside Bradie James.
