Dat too small for 3-4?

The fact that Nors sees a 4 man front and thinks it's a 4-3 already shows everything you need to know... that he knows nothing.

We were in our nickel D, not a 4-3.

And about the lack of pressure, I agree... but I suppose a 3 man front would of given us MORE pressure?

4 man front with no pressure - we agree

We'd be better off getting no pressure with 3 and dropping another deep. Cuz our Safeties sux in deep coverage - thats fact.

And you can continue to debate prevents, I'd have done what worked for 55 minutes. Harrass Brunell and attack.

Later - watch that filter bud - you been c venting that like a mojo lately! :D

You mean you would have stuck with that same 4 man nickel line that accounted for the bulk of the team's sacks that night and had shut down the skins offense for the first 55 minutes?

Apparently, the coaches thought that it was a good idea to stick with what was working as well.....

Clue - we attacked and blitzed in 3rd and longs......

We got busted in prevent with no pressure applied up front- my point exactly.
Brunell had all day! And scorched us.

Have a great evening - Eagles tomorrow and no need to reinvent the wheel here. Keep defending our scheme last 5 minutes in that game. It sucked - JMO and out!

I said that the day we lost that game. That we should of never stopped blizting.

That said, I'd rather be able to get to the QB with our front 4 (Nickel/Dime).

And if Dallas had blitzed some safeties and they secondary got burned a la San Diego, everyone here would be second guessing the coaching staff for being too aggressive.

Hindsight is 20/20 when you're an armchair coordinator.

I'd rather get beat that way then to just sit back and give the QB all day to beat you. We were extremely effective against Brunell blitzing, no reason for us to stop.

What have we ever won with Dat? Its changing of the guard time.....

Bruschi in 1998/99 what had he done? Vrabel with Pittsburgh - what had he done?

Shanle has played his *** off this year situationally and has 1 1/2 sacks and is tough as nails. He's ascending while the older vets are being phased out. Thats NFL for you.

before the injury to Dat, and now your argument is, he's just having his role reduced, yeah, you were spot on Nors
