Once a cobra bit David Buehler's leg. After five days of excruciating pain, the cobra died.
:lmao2: I'm dying here!

Here's another fact (Despite needing a better kicker for kickoffs)...You know you've had a weak draft when it's a kickoff specialist that gets headlines

Fact eh? Apparently you've forgotten about my boy Amendola last year. He was a media darling, and arguably had more headlines than any rookie until Bennett chimed in during hard knocks.....I doubt you could say that our 2008 draft was "weak".

And this has what to do with the 2009 draft class?

I heard David Buehler saw 300 and was so disappointed that he went back in time, killed the 300 Spartans, and then single-handedly held off the Persian Army.

I also heard David Buehler tracked down The Most Interesting Man in the World, broke a Dos Equis bottle over his head, and took all his women.

Last, I heard that David Buehler sent a Terminator robot back in time to take out Hostile's parents because he couldn't believe anyone could ever think Brandon Everage was any good.

I heard Buehler was Leonidas, and that he survived, because David Buehler never dies

You claimed that it was "fact" that this was a weak draft class because a kickoff specialist was getting the headlines.

Well, last year it was a 5'10" UDFA wide receiver that ran a 4.6 40 that was getting all of the headlines, and that class appears to have been a remarkable success thus far.

The point being....the particular rookies that steal the headlines have little to no correlation to how "weak" or strong a draft class is.

I thought it was a fairly easy correlation to make...

Soo, Amendola was drafted then?

Plus, hyping a receiver in a draft is one thing, hyping your kicker is another...Amendola was more hyped than Felix Jones or either of the DBs?...Perhaps in Hard Knocks Amendola got some PR but post draft, I don't recall the lasting impression of the '08 draft being Amendola.

They'd correlate if it were apples to apples, which they're not....I thought that was fairly easy to see, as well

Woosh....

Ok, you continue to believe that our draft class is "weak" because of of who is "getting the headlines". It may or may not prove to suck in time....but it isn't going to be because Beuhler stole a few media bloggers' attention away from his fellow rookies.

Have fun with that....I'll stick with reality.

BTW, when someone uses a UDFA as an example in this situation its actually worse for your argument than if he had been drafted. FYI. ;)

Actually most of these if not all are old chuck norris jokes. Hence the mentioning of a roundhouse to a blind man.

And your remarks have what to do with David Buehler??

Perhaps you should try sticking to the topic, instead of tryin' to piss on the parade...

You must be trying to be obtuse-- if a 5th rounder drawing all the ink is a sign of a weak draft class, surely an undrafted rookie free agent drawing all the ink is a sign of an even weaker class...

If your rather idiotic logic is to be accepted, that is...

The point is, David Buehler getting a lot of attention doesn't tell us jack about the quality of this draft class...

Amendola was more hyped than Felix Jones or either of the DBs?

Buehler has been more hyped than McGee, or Jason Williams, or Hodges??

Not even close...
