There's a good reason KC was upset David Irving was snagged. He just got caught in the numbers game last year, KC had some good depth on their D-line. Worked out for us.

Undisciplined usually means not playing within the scheme against the run. He did all of his damage in the 2nd half when the Packers were not much of a threat to run the ball.

Regardless of performance, if coaches allow 1 player to abandon playing within the scheme, then they will eventually have complete defense doing the same thing and that would be a bad situation. That would basically be the Rob Ryan style of defense. Players often flashed great plays in his scheme but overall the lack of discipline killed them.

He played 19 snaps after not playing because of injury issues so it's not as if they are shutting him out in terms of playing time. His time will come.

I agree that his time will come, it has to as Irving is just too productive to ignore. However, the undisciplined against the run stuff has not been substantiated by any of the coaches that I have seen anyway. And the 2nd half is when Montgomery replaced Lacy and almost put up 100 yards. This is a WR for Pete's sake. So Cowboys were having trouble against the run all game even when the "disciplined" players were in, not just in the 19 snaps that Irving played.
