I wonder if this has something to do with Dez Bryant. Considering if they tender Irving as a 2nd round they would only have 350k in salary cap space.

What i dont understand is how the Cowboys havent ask Crawford to take a paycut aswell.

It is confusing what the teams intent is here, just the simple fact of leaving this till last minute. And why, after knowing for the last 6 months or so - to get Martins contract done, which would ease up some money - have they not hammered that out ?
Irving, first or second and why last minute.
Martin long term deal to ease up cap space.
What's up with Dez ? And does it tie into Irving's tender ?
No movement on Hanna or Scandrick ? (To free up a little, seeing how they are up against the cap)

very good rant. explains my thoughts too. don't understand the delay on everything. i understand they don't have to do some moves until wednesday but why wait?

Nearly every RFA with substantial tenders got them today. Waiting until tomorrow isn't crazy.

For Scandrick we need to wait until Wed on, if he is going to have a June 1 designation.

Hanna may be open to a pay cut, so that's a good reason why height be sticking around
