I didn't think so either. Blame the NY Daily News.

I would never stand up in the middle of a meeting, jog to her seat in the conference room, giver her a big hug and hand her my laser pointer before making my way back to my seat. You are playing professional football (with emphasis on the word professional) so act like it. Pro's don't carry out a pre-planned celebratory routine when they are getting routed.

My argument is about as concise and clear as you can get. Let me restate it since you seem to be having some trouble digesting it.
When you are getting blown out you shouldn't celebrate.

It shouldn't have happened, at the very least it put her in a very awkward position.

I am sorry I just find this stuffmuch worse things to get worked up over in this world or country than that.

And of course it isn't a big deal... None of this is.

Star Guard_31;4245357 said:No because handing the ball to a child in a wheel chair would have been a classy act and a selfless move intended to enhance the experience of the child who was attending the game.
What David Nelson did was a selfish move intended to enhance his visibility and name recognition.
The intention behind the action is what rubs me the wrong way, not so much the action. If he would have simply given her the ball after the game, on the way to the locker room or after dinner it would be a non issue for me. It bothers me because he announced to reporters he intended to do something original. You only advertise this to reporters if you are trying to draw attention yo yourself, which is what he did.

I keep hearing that bantered around, but haven't read anything specific. I'd like to read it myself.
Funny thing too that a scrubby undrafted free agent was able to come through on his promise to score in a specific game.
