I like beating the Giants, but I'm not going to make fun of a 22 year old or whatever kid who got upset that he let his team down.

I'd rather have the guy crying over his fumble than the guy who doesn't care that he did it.

Honestly, the guy is a rookie, making his NFL debut in front of tens of thousands of fans and a TV audience of millions nationwide. How would you guys feel if you made an error like that under the spotlights under such pressure? Feeling terrible wouldn't even come close to describing it.

You're my man, keep up the good work. Let the Giants apologists hate.

As you can tell by my career post count, I don't visit this board very often. But when I appear, I do what I can ;).

shows that he care and he will take care of the football in the future. He will get better as the season progress.

Nothing to laugh at.

If Claiborne was in a heap of tears after giving up a reception in the 1st quarter and checked out the rest of the game, it would send up some red flags for me. I don't mind a player in tears after the game, but to be in tears in the 1st quarter when you're still in the trenches in the heat of battle? Methinks the big stage and bright lights got to him a little bit. Maybe not a huge thing in the grand scheme of things, but definitely not a good thing either ... particularly for a guy playing in the spotlight of New York. He better get some tougher skin.

That jerk face Pierre Paul just found someone new to bully around...

All kidding aside, I do feel bad for the kid.

As a person, I feel bad for him.

As a Giant, he gets no sympathy from me.

Deal with it.

My thoughts exactly. I know any amount of Giant fans would do that to one of our young players, though. I wish several of our players in the past cared that much in the past rather than smiling about it.

Just because it may send up some flags doesn't mean people should make fun of him about it. Like others have said, at least it bothered him and he wasn't smiling about it.

I'm pretty sure Bradshaw took every single carry from there on out. If he were on my team, I'd probably prefer he laugh it off and not let it emotionally cripple him to the point that he disappeared from the rest of the game. Wilson probably would have instilled more confidence in Coughlin and his teammates to get him back in the action if he wasn't acting like a fat housewife watching the last 15 minutes of Titanic.

Okay, this is funny. I think it's lame how the media will blow this out of proportion and you will see it everywhere for the next week. This is funny though.
