David Wilson cried after Lee made him fumble

I'm pretty sure Bradshaw took every single carry from there on out. If he were on my team, I'd probably prefer he laugh it off and not let it emotionally cripple him to the point that he disappeared from the rest of the game. Wilson probably would have instilled more confidence in Coughlin and his teammates to get him back in the action if he wasn't acting like a fat housewife watching the last 15 minutes of Titanic.

He didn't check out. Coughlin benched him the rest of the game. TC has a history of benching rookie RB's who fumble, he did it to Bradshaw his first game.

Not sure I agree with Coughlins approach on that but what the helll do I know about coaching compared to TC.

Like I said in a further in the thread thread, when you have a rookie acting like a basketcase in his first NFL game on the sideline, it kinda forces your hand a little bit.

I simply am not going to hate on a 22 year old kid who takes it hard that he let his team down in a big opening game. That's tough.

He'll bounce back, of that I have no doubt, and I'm certainly not going to fault him for it.


It's funny so many are when probably quite a few of those same people absolutely HATED IT when Roy Williams would smile after bad plays and pissed and moaned about him not caring enough or it not meaning enough to him.

I always knew the Giants were a bunch of little b's and now the whole world knows it too. Between their players crying and their excuse-making regarding the refs, I'm surprised the league doesn't ask them to join major league soccer instead.

I do care that Lee knew that the kid had a fumbling problem and exploited it. That's what makes a good player great.

sometimes I wonder if 80% of our fanbase is from Highland Park. you guys need to lighten up and realize those clowns are our "enemy." stop with the soft b/s. cowboys have been under attack the last 5 years from everyone, when the tables turn i'll be damned if I don't take the opportunity to laugh at their misfortune.
