It's amazing how RS has been wrong about players over and over, yet keeps on posting as if it never happened. He's still trying to claim that T. Crawford is not a good player. It's comical.

Aren't you the same guy who said that, during the draft process, Zack Martin was overrated, and Xavier S'ua-Filo and David Yankey were higher ceiling players?

No one gets it right all of the time. Those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

You can continue to spin this into me not liking UDFAs all you want it won't make it any less wrong. But I get it. You're desperately searching for some firm footing here.

It's not about a blanket statement of UDFAs. It's about this particular UDFA. I was the one liking Tony Romo while this board was being told he was lollipopping all this throws and everyone was focused on Drew Henson.

It was me that preached the virtues of signing the undrafted Miles Austin and was patient with his development while most figured Sam friggin Hurd was the better option. He had better hands. I remember those threads.

There's a lot of UDFAs I like, but there are a lot more that I don't like.

I refuse to pretend your belief that a ham and egger like Coleman was a potential down the road starter was a legitimate thought. He was a roster filler on a very bad defensive team.

So excuse me if I point and laugh at you some more.

And hold on to your hat. I can smell the Jack Crawford cut coming. Sometimes you just can't wait for these guys to reach their immense potential.

Go Cowboys, though.

Remember that time you said Hitchens couldn't play?

And then said it again?

And kept saying it?

And then the games began?

And you kept saying it?

That was fun.

I still don't think he can play. I still wouldn't have used a 4th round pick on him.

The fact that he has to play on a defense devoid of talent doesnt change things.

He's the same YouTube scout who was telling everybody who would listen in the winter that DeMarcus Lawrence lacked quick twitch ability. Now the fraud is a huge fan. Always has been.

His Justin Pugh can't play OT in the league was another gem.

Reboot the computer. Something's wrong.

Remember that time I claimed Crawford wasn't or wouldn't be a good player?

You're the violinist still playing as the titanic sinks.

I can admire that kind of obstinacy.

And you've been the one saying " pfft..this ship can't sink " the last 20 years.

So desperate that you're trying to crow about some JAG rookie LB whose been forced on the field out of necessity.

Hey cmon risen . I thought Hitchens was a bust myself . But some of these plays he's made have been excellent . Particularly on short yardage stops , he's been clutch.

He seems to have too much pride to admit he's wrong, which makes most of his takes on here comical.

I've been as critical of this organization as anyone.

I just don't presume to know more about college players than 32 professional organizations who spend millions in resources evaluating said players.

I also don't pretend to know 32 team's draft boards after the fact loudly proclaiming where you could have gotten player x or player y. It's literally impossible to do so and makes you look foolish.

Also I'm the iceberg that the titanic ran into.

For me, it's not necessarily not liking an UDFA. It's the fact that this board is so quick to anoint them (see Jeff Heath and the oh my god he's Bill Bates posts).Tony Romo and Miles Austin are the exception not the rule.

The fact that Jerry has missed so badly on some draft picks and big contracts, creates an environment where there is so much more opportunities here for UDFA's. Still, Undrafted Free Agency is an excellent opportunity to find depth and maybe a future starter. I just think we need to stop pretending every UDFA we sign is going to be a star. Barry Church is incredibly overrated IMO. Jeff Heath is awful. Davon Coleman is decent but not needed. Tyler Patmon is a solid #5 CB. Cole Beasley is a solid #4 or #5 WR. Ron Leary is a steal as long as his knee holds up. UDFA's should be depth and every once in while, a surprise find. It should not be a way of life in regards to building a roster in the NFL.
Leary is kind of an expection in that without his knee condition, he probably goes no latter then the 4th
