Neither do I. That was one of the worst performances I've seen by a rookie DE in quite some time. Russell is clearly not ready.

I do not take this cut to heart just because we had some preseason flash and some camp articles to tell us how he was some budding player.

All I know about this player is that he has been in and out of the doghouse. He had an opportunity yesterday. Now he is out.
Not going to lose any sleep over it.
Get another one.

I think it is very likely they pick up Edwards. The really need another pass rushing DE until Hardy and Gregory return. Crawford is probably better suited for DT.

I don't quite understand. Coleman to me has shown significantly more flash than Russell. I mean what has Russell done exactly to impress ANYONE? why not keep Coleman and cut Russell then sign him to PS? We are talking about resigning Edwards who's on the street right now but has shown more ability CURRENTLY.

There must be something more. Either Coleman has pissed off some coaches played completely out of control and abandon his gap/lane.
