I'm more worried we only have 2 true DTs now. Russell and Crawford are tweeners and may get pushed around given extended PT.

We have T. Crawford, J. Crawford, Hayden and Bishop, so we're not technically in need of another DT. Plus, when Hardy and Gregory get back, we'll have Hardy and Mincey to use on the inside on passing downs.

That's why I'm not sure this move means we'll add a DL. If Mincey is expected to return this week from his concussion, we'll have Mincey, T. Crawford, Hayden, Lawrence, J. Crawford and Bishop dressed this week. If we decide we need another end to dress, that's where we might add a player like Edwards instead of dressing Russell.

However, it seems kind of silly to just add Edwards for a week with Rolando and Hardy set to come off suspension. I think it's likely that we just hold the spot open for one of them. Then, we'll possibly cut Russell and attempt to get him on the PS to add the other one.

I hope we hear what happened. This sounds to me like he had an incident of some sort, too. If he did, then he's an idiot, given his situation.
