Do we like Marvel Tell at all?

Marvel Tell isn't a good tackler and doesn't have great speed to make up for it. This team needs a sure tackler I think.

No doubt. He is an extremely specialized guy. Not everyone has the luxury to take that type.

Pollard is a great pick. He has elite speed, good vision and burst through holes.

He will be utilized as a return specialist, slot receiver, special teams starter and backup running back. Heck of a pick.

I had a burst like that once..........we named her Carrie.

They are taking players ahead of where they should, and thinking the other player will be there when they pick next. Only for that player to be taken ahead of their pick.
It does not seem like their usual plan as to actually taking BPA. Seems they target a player and take him when it is their pick.

Maybe so, maybe not, but to me, this seems to be the case.

I think theyre taking them too early too.

What drives me nuts is that I feel like we are back to a few years ago where the front office had this notion that it had too much talent on the starting side of the roster and we only need to draft backups. What's wrong with drafting the best on the board and let them compete. We are always drafting for need which puts you behind the 8 ball to get the pick right.
