Draft Day ****Day 3 Draft Thread****

I hate that 13 time champion BS from GB. Win the NFL when you only had to win one game against inferior teams until Dallas got there, and one time it took a non call of a OL moving early, that gave them a win.

:muttley::muttley:
I wouldn't even call Pollard a backup RB....Would you really trust Pollard w/ 20 carries? I wouldn't...I still think it's a need.

We still have needs @....

LB...Need to replace Damien Wilson
RB-
dime safety
TE
DT
CB

Don’t forget OL

Starting to stockpile those late picks. It seems like Dallas is starting to prioritize nabbing rookies they might not be able to grab in FA. Maybe they're not that crazy about anyone left.

But since we are throwing darts, throw one at Alize Mack, the TE from ND. He’s like Hill..... needs an attitude adjustment.

The chances of hitting on sixth and seventh rounders are extremely low.

But hey, get more of 'em, may get luckier?

In a word, yes. More lottery tickets improve your (still negligible) chances. You’ve identified the right problem (that your odds are long) but failed to see the best solution (take more swings at it).

They panicked, clearly. Now they are scrambling around like utter fools.
What they should do is go Bill Belichick on the draft and get rid of two of those 6's for 5's next year.

As u say no need for these late rounders..

They should have taken Isaha first, then take the web back with the second 4th.

But of course not, this front office screws it up yet again...………………...seriously, these idiots would screw up a wet dream

Then get punked for 15 spots in a trade...……….just embarrassing, we are such an easy mark around the league:facepalm:

I’ve come to the conclusion Stephen is really not much different than his dad.

As I said, this draft is run like they think they had a near perfect roster and just need depth and practice squad bodies.

Such a disappointment.

Stephen is the complete opposite of his dad. How many big time FAs have you seen come here lately? The FA and draft philosophy has changed for this team for better or worse.

Now will Stephen be better GM as his dad? Lol idk

In the last 8 years:

6th round - James Hanna
7th round - Terrance Mitchell
7th round - Geoff Swaim
6th round - Anthony Brown
6th round - Kavon Frazier
6th round - Xavier Woods
7th round - Noah Brown
6th round - Cedrick Wilson

We've done pretty well in the 6th and 7th rounds. That's about a 25% hit rate. Might as well up the odds, which increases the chances of hitting on a good player.

I get the feeling you wouldn't be happy no matter what Dallas did.

I'll wait and see. We could get another Anthony Brown or another Bo Scarbrough.

Wow.

That is pure unadulterated laziness to give up on the real draft and start reaching for UDFAs because you don't want to "fight for them".

Just incredible this is what is being sold officially by a team mouthpiece.

In rounds 5-7 all 32 teams are reaching for UDFAs. It’s the same crop of players

I don’t get the gate trading for more picks at this point.

It’s all lottery tickets now.
Why not increase your odds of hitting on one?

Don’t tell Syria that.

Usually when they trade down like this it means that the board is not falling well for them. Maybe not a terrible decision per se if they don't think anybody available is worth the pick, but usually does not bode well for the draft class.
