Draft Day ****Day 3 Draft Thread****

So we’ve had the infamous “special teams” draft, is this going to be the infamous “backups” draft?
No, it’s much much worse than a “back-ups” draft, it’s the “***” draft. Epic incompetence on full display.

Wow.

That is pure unadulterated laziness to give up on the real draft and start reaching for UDFAs because you don't want to "fight for them".

Just incredible this is what is being sold officially by a team mouthpiece.

But we got to do it bro, this roster is just soo dam good none of the UDFAs will sign with us...……….we just too good:flagwave:

If all your 4th round guys are gone it makes sense to trade down. I understand the frustration in not getting guys you liked but if there’s one thing this FO has done well for the last 8 years has been the draft. I’m definitely not assuming they traded down because of incompetence
The Pollard pick should’ve been Johnson then nobody would be upset. They blew it big time.

Based on where we were drafting and the players we have, that was likely to be the case. The only realistic starters we could have gotten are at DL and S. No one drafted in the fourth round on should have been expected to supplant a starter, at least not until the starter leaves.

You people are witnessing history.

We are the first team ever to beat the draft.

We can now draft the undrafted free agents earlier than they should be and avoid having to compete for the available free agents.

This is true genius.

Must be Will McClay at work.

Everyone is down on the cowboys taking a talented multi use back/receiver/returner. Gotta hope that the new OC will know how to use him and Jerry will let him actually do it. I'm ready to see some diversity in playcalling on the offensive side. We will have to wait and see.
