Draft Day ****Day 3 Draft Thread****

I just don’t have a clue what they are thinking at the S position.

They brought 6 safeties in for a visit, the most of any position.

And will leave the draft with likely zero of them.
I think they will trade for someone or look at post draft cuts

No, all is fine. Haven't you seen the George Iloka fluff this morning? This Front Office is so transparent. How many other teams put out Jeff Heath stories the day they didn't sign Earl Thomas, the Iloka stuff this morning, the countless times they try to justify a player because "someone else was going going to draft him any minute" ? This Front Office is somehow equally arrogant and insecure. They want to appear clever but constantly feel the need to publicly justify their decisions.

I'd like to agree: but the fact the club has probably been in the top 5 drafting teams for about 10 years tells me to temper judgement a little.

why is Deonte thompson dropping so much? I saw mocks where he was first safety off the board

Big hitting run stuffer safety should be available, Sheldrick Redwine. Great speed too. Good project to take a chance to try and work with.

Guess the Browns agree with you. I'd say "LOL" but it isn't really funny. This front office and the Safety position is just..........mind numbingly asinine.

So basically ham fist the position again.

We were one of the bottom half of the league pass defenses in 2017 and 2018. Safety play was a big reason.

And basically they’ve done little other than bring in an average vet FA to address it.

Disappointing.
