Draft Day ***Day one Draft Thread***

No trade ups yet.
If the same happens with New York, that says something about any extra urgency for Tua or the Herbert.
this draft may not go the way they thought...trade wise.

i disagree completely, for me its the other way around.

I can name teams that made it to and won superbowls with bad pass rush, I cannot think of the last time a team won the SB without a top 10 secondary. I just have yet to see it in a long time. Even KC turned the corner once they got their secondary healthy; they went from vulnerable to unstoppable.

everyone thinks giants go OT or Simmons at LB.

However they have been known to love drafting D Lineman in the first ...could shock a few if they took D Brown even though I doubt they will
With a young QB I think they have to go O.

Corner is more valuable to a team than a pass rusher (and thankfully cheaper). If he can be a top 5 corner that defense takes a huge stride forward. You look up your two starting corners and suddenly the pass rush is better, the run defense is better, and the overall ToP gets better.
I see it the other way. A top pass rush makes the secondary better. A top pass rush also creates turnovers. If QBs have all day, the don't tend too make too many mistakes, no matter how good the secondary is

If any other team had kerrigan sweat and young at de with payne allen and ionnadis at DT i would fear them

but its something about the Commanders that makes me say who gives a crap

still they have no business not being the best front four in the league

if you have bad rush then your good corners will look bad a lot.
