Draft Day ***Day THREE draft thread***

This has to be the Cowboys best draft ever from top to bottom. They can draft Alfred E Newman next and it wouldn’t change a thing.
But ... but... they took the best wr in the draft in the 1st round when we needed a Safety that didn't go until round 2. The draft cant be good after that boondoggle. Sky is falling sky is falling

Yea I understand that, but I’ve lost 6 family members to suicide or OD in the last 5 years, it’s pretty tough for someone that has dealt with so much loss and depression to hear about all of these kids losing people close to them - I think it’s a bit unnecessary.

Agreed, who wants to hear about depressing things while they are attempting to escape all the depressing things happening around them? Especially now.

Man the TV coverage is anything but the draft once it gets this late. Seems like they could be doing summaries or something draft related. I think if we wanted a COVID update we could get that on about ten other channels. Now we have a concert going on.

The downside of this draft is the lack of angry threads in the Overtime Zone.

Ticket said so far this draft not one player they took was ahead of where they should be. Can many teams ever say that.

Very definition of letting your scouts put the board together and then sticking to it. There are always players available you didn't expect to be with every single pick. The issue is pulling the trigger and taking the best one.

Hear that. Not to be insensitive but seriously.

Did not catch who is performing right now but they are killing it IMO.
True.

But I'd rather them focus on players and picks.

I'm the guy that hates the Super Bowl half-time show. I'd rather see highlights and analysis.

Anae is who I wanted, definitely not complaining.

Mann has the potential to be the next great Aggie punter in the NFL though, and I believe Chris Jones has run out of time.

Still, winning for sure with the pick.

Yes. Give me the punter in the seventh, and I'm happy. (If we can't get him there, maybe as UDFA but I'd rather not take that chance.)

I could live with trying to find a backup QB, but I think Mann making the roster and helping this team is more of a sure thing.
