Jeez Anae is 6'3"??

On youtube he looks 5'11"

Why I threw the Harrison comp out there.

After hearing the slip was due to bad 40 time...dude named Terell Suggs had the same issue.

Funny thing....we are never gonna ask Anae to run 40 straight yards. Ever. Find the QB in this nickel package son. He'll be all over it.

Totally agree on the impact of the punter thing but they can either still get Mann or find another.

The potential of Anae alone was worth that pick.

Had to be done. Not like they took some D3 WR who would be cut.

I was slightly upset with the C pick because I wanted Anae, I felt that his initial contributions far outweighed those of a potential OLine wash..then we wound up with both.

I jumped the gun on that

I just don't see any other 7th rounder, or combined late round picks Dallas could give up to get Mann, could be of better value than a possibly elite punter.

Overall this draft, on paler at least, is an absolute stunner. I am on Cloud 9 currently. Amazing. Absolutely wonderul.

It was primarily the fact that he has less than ideal arms and a slow 40.

I really hate day 3 coverage of the NFL Draft.

The people watching now are mostly hard-core football fans. What does ESPN do? Spend time talking about feel-good stories. Show highlights and analysis of the players.

They still have not shown Bradlee Anae footage.

yup....was looking up his stats...he averaged 51 a kick 2 years ago...dipped a little last year to 47.1

Mel did not say that. Daniel Jeremiah said it. Mel had Robinson ranked 216th overall.

Do it Jerry. Draft a punter. Could have a big big impact from the 7th round. But i heard he has to work on his hang time. They said he out kicks his coverage a lot this year.

Watched Mann a lot over the course of his college career and here's what I've observed:

-Freshman Year: Place Kicker, not his strong suit.
-Sophomore Year: Didn't play. Sat behind another Ray Guy award winner.
-Junior Year: Record-setting average for length of punts, but had too many touchbacks. Kicked it too far a lot which allowed for 15-20 yard returns on average.
-Senior Year: Worked on dialing it back some to master his touch on shorter punts. Average length went down in result. Had less touchbacks and more downed inside the 20. More fair catches, as well.
