I would rather rank 29th overall in pass defense with a bunch of young players and rookies then a bunch of overpaid veterans any time like last season. the first of the year is probably going to hard to watch in some games but by the end of the year lets hope that we can see some great young players at the end. if not we draft some more young guys until we find the right guys.

let me say this off the bat, I really like this draft.

How much will Dallas be hurt by inexperience?

Byron Jones (3rd year)
Anthony Brown (2nd year)
Kavon Frazier (2nd year)
Chidobe Awuzie (Rookie)
Jourdan Lewis (Rookie)
Xavier Woods (Rookie)
Marquez White (Rookie)

Only experienced players are OS (9 years) and Nolan Carroll (7 years) and we all know about OS injury history. Again I'm not complaining or anything just trying to see what the thinking with this is.

Hopefully Awuzie, Lewis, and White fare better than Dwayne Goodrich, Kareem Larimore, and Mario Edwards..

Hopefully Awuzie, Lewis, and White fare better than Dwayne Goodrich, Kareem Larimore, and Mario Edwards..

Goodrich had a good year his junior year and stunk up the joint his senior year. Larrimore was a small school guy. Mario Edwards was a late round pick.

Awuzie and Lewis both were from big schools and excelled last year.

Most importantly it is not Larry Lacewell telling Jerry who to pick.

We needed this secondary rebuild. It's long overdue. We will be just fine with these rookies and young DB's.
