is he long-term starter material? no, i don't think so. but if they hadn't tried to rush romo back and just plugged in moore from the beginning, don't you think we would have had 2 or 3 more wins? i do.
He lost every game he played in and had six turnovers. How would that kind of performance result in 2 or 3 more wins?

i think he showed progress in a short amount of time, and moved the ball better than the more veteran players he replaced. considering how close some of our games were this season even with poor quarterback play, i think moore would have done enough and progressed enough over 10 or 12 games to have led the team to a few victories.

I swear, if at that #4 pick..... They don't take the best DT

Then, I'm giving up!

Where are they going to play? I assume we bring back Hardy, so DE is covered.

We just signed TCrawford and have McClain, Russell and Irving. Hayden comes back every year for the vet min and Marinelli doesn't value the 1T anyways.

Garrett must have stock in McFadden.

There was no reason to use him as much once he got his 1000 yards and extra 300k.

It would have been nice to see if Turbin or RSmith can provide anything in the future.

Must be that Garrett doesn't think along those terms. I think he believes in a bellcow and that probably has to do with how he views offensive execution. I don't agree with him but it is rational.

He has no idea how to split carries but wants to count on a committee?. It makes no sense.

He grew up with Emmitt so he knows the importance of wearing them down. McFadden just isn't that guy.

Murray was and so are guys like Elliott, Henry, and Collins.

I'm just taking the deductive approach. He had Randle running at 6 YPC and still only gave him a series. Turbin showed some potential yet he got the same treatment. Both were opportunities where sharing carries made sense. DMC in particular would lose focus and yip at ends of games. That tells me that Garrett and Linehan want a bellcow. Linehan had Faulk in St Louis and Smith in Minnesota in that role.

Emmitt never came off the field and is the all time leading rusher. I don't think Garrett took the lesson you think he did. I also think he is conservative enough to try and hammer a round peg into a square hole as he keeps on doing it.

11) This club is going to have to get better at the 1-technique, and the good news is that there are several candidates in this draft who can offer immediate help.

Music to my ears

Gotta draft them first and they have shown no desire to do that.

Put him next to Crawford.... Let the games begin

add 5 more dropped passes.....and a dropped TD. 22 drops in 3 weeks.....seriously:rolleyes: Add those numbers to his totals....and he is right there w/ Romo's stats.

Your on this dude so tight you can hear and feel his heartbeat!!!!! Lol. I don't think he's bad but I don't think he's that good either. Hopefully he is as good as you think he is.

LOL

A player like Moore starting 10-12 games gets you fired.

i'm not sure what your point is. that guys capable of being backups don't make good starters? that's obvious.

i'm not suggesting moore is a future pro bowler. i'm just saying that, had he had the starts that were wasted on weeden and cassell, he might have produced two or three wins.

I think the results would be about the same, things considering. Moore was not under much pressure to win and I think he had a different set of rules to operate out of.
