Packers are trying to get him . Cantys agent said that teh guaranteed money is between 15 and 20 million and the Packers did not hesitate. Canty has trips with the Giants and Seattle. They are 4-3 teams and with GB going to a 3-4 the thinking is he would be more comfortable in a 3-4. Packers don't get involved this early in Free Agency but they have nobody to play DE opposite of Jenkins...Big hole that Canty would fill. Packers have over 30 million in cap room so the contract won't hurt them.

What are you guys doing with Colin Cole? Is he gone?

Cole is a free agent. He has no pass rush skills at all. I don't know if the Packers want him back or not. I know he wants about 2 million a year on a multi year contract. He will probably get that. Ted did not want to pay him that.

If you're going to the 34, why wouldn't you try him at NT? He seems like a fit.
