It's unlikely Proctor will be cut. He can play several positions, too. The backup guard can't.

:star:

i dont think so, remember that the cowboys will save about 1 million and some change if they release proctor or trade him

either the cowboys are looking at preston to replace proctor or holland, the other linemen we have on the roster are OTs, free and mcquistan

Cut Proctor Now...............now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no dont cut him, we might be able to get a draft pick, from miami, remember proctor was one of parcells players that he had picked up,

and if you could get a draft pick probably a 7th at that and a conditional pick, but hey 7th rouders are useful too, you can package draft picks to move up in other rounds

You're out of your mind if you think anyone is going to give up any sort of draft pick for Proctor.

They watch games too.

I'd like to make sure this guy has something other than a big old bag before I cut people.

Procter sucks, and I cannot fathom that this guy could be worse. But I'd still like to make sure first.

You think he'll play this Sat.?

If it's anything like when we got Holland, we'll see him Week 6 of the regular season.

The fact that the Cowboys are working the waiver wire for OL help makes me feel better,,, and this guy could be pretty decent, who knows? just remember how all of Detroit laughed themselves silly that we would even want Kosier and it turns out that he's very serviceable,,,

How can a guy off the street be better than Procter/Proctor, who commands a 1.5 million second round tender, maybe Jerrys most memorable free agent move of the offseason!

Servicable? He's arguably the most valuable player on the O-line and that's saying something.

well, that qualifies as a Hot Sports Opinion,,, I think Kosier's "most valuable" status is directly related to the fact that he's the one lineman that went down last year and our lack of depth made it seem like we lost a pro-bowler, lol... I will say that he is highly underrated though,,,
