And that is what is a bit alarming.

Losing one starting left guard shouldn't turn a quality line into an utter mess.

I still wish someone could detail why losing his "communication" made it such an issue.

I understand the step down to the likes of Cory Proctor is a problem, but it was glaring.

So is Kosier that good, Proctor that bad or is there another issue entirely with the chemistry and coaching with line that contributed?

It was not necessarily the loss of Kosier but the addition of Proctor to the starting line up IMO. If there is any truth to them rumor that Gurode needs Kosier to call out defensive sets, then the insertion of Proctor should have been smoother as Proctor is supposed to be the back up center and should have had as much ability to assist Gurode in identifying the defensive sets.

Not only was Proctor unable to do this, but he was a frikkin turnstile in the passing game and invisible in the running game, unless he was pulling.

Does this mean both or are you referring to the brazilian gay slang for fit and muscular. Inquiring minds want to know.

Yeah this was all Parcells.

And I'm glad he's feeling good. It's nice to have someone who can move like he can. Not that the others cant, but he is by far the best.

it was actually a Jeff Ireland signing

I doubt that. I don't think Parcells had the time to devote to scouting guards that much. It's why we have pro scouts. Obvious the scouting department wanted him.
