DC.COM: Colombo Healthy, Practicing And Planning To Start

Doug Free has done an admirable job for a backup; however, he's not a freakin' star OT yet. Colombo is the better OT, the more experienced OT who will do better against the blitzes, and he's a more powerful run blocker than Free.

Getting Colombo back is a good thing.

If Free were better than either of our starting tackles, he'd be the starter. We're all thrilled with what he's done and his potential future, but having our two starting OT's in the game makes us better.

I just don't like it. I hope I'm wrong and I'll trust the coaches but I don't like the move.

BTW.. Felix doesn't score without Free running 40 yeards down the field FROM THE OTHER SIDE to block a CB.

That would be true if Colombo was game fit and reasonably practiced, but he isn't.
