As Rob wrote in a blog post yesterday, Jerry Jones revealed he has already had interest in the No. 9 overall pick in next month's draft. Two teams curious about the cost of trading up have called the Cowboys, the owner said.

Who might those be, you have to wonder? In all likelihood, it's a team interested in moving up ahead of the Washington Commanders, who pick 10th. This is hardly scientific, but perhaps we can make some educated guesses based on Washington's needs, and which teams would have similar interests on the night of April 28.

For the most part, I think mock drafters build consensus by looking on the paper of other mock drafters, but anyway, the internets seem to believe Washington will attempt to target a wide receiver, quarterback or pass-rusher...

I would trade both this and next season's first to target a player in this draft.

Question Hos, if there is no contract, can a team still trade players as barter?

The Cowboys have also explored trade ups.

Arizona, after word started to get hot that Buffalo wants Von Miller at 3. So it looks like 5 and 6 are target areas if Peterson is there.

I don't think so, just current and future draft picks.

If we got that deal Jerry Jones would be considered the all american hero

Using some of the board wisdom, Jerry is unable to pull off any draft related intelligence...but would there be some howling after that!:D

I wish we lost that eagles game.

I'd give Arizona this year's 1 and next year's 3 for #5.

I'd imagine it would have to be next year's 2nd and something like this year's 4th?

I think I'd rather win then tell my players its okay to lose.

I wish our fans weren't such a whiney embarrassment. Nobody gets what they want all the time, though.

There's a good chance that the player who ends up being the biggest NFL star in this draft is going to be selected after pick 8. Instead of wishing for losses, we could look forward to the possibility that Dallas finds that guy at 9.

New England has the most ammo to work trades. There's a hundred ways to work a deal, but trading with NE could involve something like our 9 (1350 pts) for their 17 (950 pts), 60 (300 pts) and 92 (132 pts); total 1382. Dallas gains 32 pts in the deal. I would hate for that scenario to happen, because the draft is so much more of a crap shoot at 17.

Same here. I don't regret winning that game.

Loved handing the eagles one more loss regardless of how meaningless it was. Not so sure the loss in and of itself wasn't a contributing factor in the eagle's late season decline.

Hate to see Skins end up with A. J. Green. If the kid is the "Randy Moss" people say.... well I hope we land Nnamdi or someone that can cover him.:

Trading next years 1st is stupid. We can't keep building a team if we keep trading away future draft picks. Peterson in no way shape or form is worth two #1's. In fact nobody in this draft is.

Think about it we got the best pass rusher in the league at #9. I say stay pat, or trade down and pick up two studs.
