Everyone seems to see him succeed and can say "see, i told you how great he was." Those are the real peaches of fans who can't see past their own bias opinion confusing what they want with what will probably happen. I want a winner at qb so the team will win a Super Bowl, which I don't think will happen with this bum.

you want him to fail so "everyone's boy wonder" will look like a "mental midget" and you can look like you know football and have an insight 95 percent of us lack.
and when he doesn't crash and burn you don't post enough for anyone to even remember your name so you are completely safe behind your little wall of ignorance.

What's TO's problem with quarterbacks? He's had a problem with all 3 of them now. Why doesn't he just become a quarterback so he won't have to worry about people "backstabbing him."

They were talking about it on 103.3.
T.O. said Romo had no Leadership (which is TRUE) but I would consider checking out a podcast or an article to get the full scoop.
I'm just going by what I heard from the radio.
so has anyone told you that you have an "agenda" yet?arik1;2822950 said:Nah, you're right, I don't post enough, and honestly, I think Romo is not a leader, but don't be hypocrite because, you, just like myself, are voicing you're opinion just like everyone else here on this forum without anyone knowing who we are. Did I hurt you're feelings when I said that about Romo? Nice sig btw.
MWILL;2822585 said:You can always post in the other UNinteresting threads.
Did Owens have these problems with Steve Young?MWILL;2822564 said:Hello.....He was a scapegoat.

They are admitting that they know romo doesn't have the stones to take control, and are keeping their fingers crossed/praying that the move will pay off, and if/when it doesn't then who else is Jerry and everyone else going to blame for romo's inneffectiveness?
Will it be Roy Williams, who we probably already know won't replace TO's production because he can't get WIDE OPEN? Or will it be the offensive line, who will be slammed beacause they only give romo 6-7 seconds to throw the ball, and he gets sacked when he can't hit a receiver who isn't wide open. Or will it be Jason Garrett because he isn't the one fumbling or throwing interceptions, but because his offense is "to predictable." I don't recall that being an issue in 2007.
When will Jerry learn that as brilliant as he is in business, his football knowledge, especially at qb is seriously lacking. Carter, Hutch, Henson, Leaf, Stoerner, romo?
And how many excellent quarterbacks will Jerry pass on coming out of college until he stops making excuses for romo. Perhaps this season when romo is among the league leader in turnovers and the team goes 5-11.

In Jeff Garcia, Tony Romo and even Donovan McNabb you have guys that are good to great quarterbacks, but not necessarily what I'd consider strong leaders ("yet" in Romo's case; i think it's in there somewhere). Yes, even McNabb who hasn't encountered a criticism he can't blame on race. I think the problem teams face with Owens is that he's a natural leader, players gravitate to him b/c the guy is a hard worker. I can see how some egotistical QBs (maybe not Romo but other in the organization) would have a problem with him.
Owens is right, it's up to Tony to take on the leadership role; no more excuses this year. I hope Tony does become the strong leaders this team needs; the field general that leads by example.

SaltwaterServr;2822934 said:I am honestly and openly embarrassed that you have any reference to Texas Tech in your user name and produce posts such as this. You sure you didn't go to that little second rate community college in Levelland?[/quo
Do you call it second rate because they wouldn't accept you into their school? People who go to schools like that are the ones who submit posts claiming that romo will win "multiple" Super Bowls or that this team will succeed with him. I don't think you should disgrace Tech by mentioning the school. You would probably be best served attending a school like Eastern Illinois because we know anything that school produces usually sucks. :laugh2:
