Nothing as of yet. Last report was he was wearing a protective boot and it is unknown if he will be able to go Sunday.

Thanks! That is normal protocol for a foot or ankle injury. I hope that they have him in the boot to just to protect it and he can play.

This does stink. How many injuries can we take?

I'd almost forgotten about Ball there, though. He should be able to work at it all week with Jenkins (hopefully) back at corner. I actually think he'd be a pretty good safety because he's rangy and will tackle. He was the special teams player of the week two weeks in a row the game before this one.

So if Hamlin is okay we *might* get by all right... I'll really be worried if Hamlin can't go. And it doesn't sound good for him.

Hey, the Saints have 14 guys on IR!!!! So we shouldn't complain.

If not I would expect Dallas to me in a lot of man coverage because you will not have your vet safety making the coverage calls. A lot less communication is needed in man than it is in zones

And they gave up a bunch of draft picks for Vilma and Shockey-IOW, they gambled those big moves in the offseason would pay dividends for them this year, and lost.

TBH, not sure what they would do, never seen a team lose three safeties before.

I think it happen to the Texans last year or the year before. The remarkable this is, we're still 8-5

No team has faced as many injuries as the Cowboys. Especially since our injures are Pro Bowlers.

The best they can? I agree not a great situation but I feel confident in Henry ability to move in to the spot not so much Ball but if Dallas is manning up on the WR with help over the top I think we can deal with this. I think the Giants are not going to abandon their bread and butter which is the running game so I think that will still be the main focus for Dallas is to stop the run and get pressure on Manning to force mistakes when he does go back to pass.

Well when 1 out of 4 went to the pro bowl, it's not hard to have that happen!

What's even worse in my opinion is that the Bengals just picked up Mike Doss off waivers. Obviously he's a free agent for a reason, but coming out of tOSU he was a nice prospect. I feel he could have helped us out for the remainder of the season.

Oh well, I guess we can get a dress rehearsal to see how well Henry can play S for next season.

He has been part of the good run defense and He plays a huge role on special teams.

This just sucks.

Yep. He played good for us. Great stop by him and Brady on forth and goal.

Man that really sucks!

Didn't Detroit just cut Brian Kelly? A veteran corner and he played at one hell of a college (< look over there). :worthy2:

I'm sure he may be inclined to return to Tampa Bay but Dallas should make a run at him. Doesn't directly help our safety situation but makes it easier to move Henry and Ball to safety.

Kelly's a Cover 2 corner-he wouldn't fit in our D.

right now he's better than lining Bobby Carpenter back there. We are running out of bodies.

starting to look like any warm body at DB will fit in our D

There is a silver lining in all of this. Hopefully Wade will stay aggressive with our front seven to mask our problems in the secondary. If they had stayed after the Steelers I don't think we get beat.
