DC.COM: Update: Keith Davis Practices

Yeah, a blog just said Keith Davis is participating in practice. He is there and not on sideline like Austin and Barber (Barber was on side at least during Media portion). PacMan Witten and others aren't even on field.

Jenkins is practicing also.

Killa is pretty tough. He plays with bullets in him too!

I can only imagine how many people told him not to return sunday and he didnt care and went right back out there.

Have to love the mans love for the game.

Gotta respect Keith Davis. He got injured in the first half and came back and played. Now he's out there practicing.

If I had to bet he probably told the doctors to shove it and he is going out and playing.

I hope he can play but if he can't move around very well on it then he is not going to be any help to the team. I respect a guy trying to play through an injury as long as he can do the job if not he is only putting himself and the team at risk

Now wouldn't it be something if Davis got the first interception of his career this week?

(That's right, Davis has played 82 regular-season and postseason games in the NFL and has never had a single interception.)

I am still amazed a guy could be in such good position and not get a pick as he was on that play against the saints in 06. That was baffling he didnt pick that ball.

I guess that is how that whole day went.

I think he meant that the giants were banged up last year, particularly in the secondary.

He doesn't want to miss out on his shot as a starter - he got Miami to cut him b/c he wanted the chance to start. Now that it is here, he isn't giving it up without a fight.

Good for Keith. He truly is the kind of player you HAVE to have on the team - a guy who may not be the most talented but always gives an excellent effort.

they had all sorts of injuries in their defensive backfield. ended up starting a rookie and a journeyman at corner all the way to the superbowl. all due to the pressure from the front seven.
