I know Shanle played at a higher level last year than ALs. Burnett has a buzz and will start over ALs.

Lets see if he can hold off the pups.

Is Als' position the one that will change? How many weeks does Romo hold onto the #2 spot?

What are tonights winning lotto numbers?

Is my luck gunna change?

Will I meet somebody?

sNors seems to have an unhealthy Al Singleton obsession to go with his unhealthy Darren Howard obsession.

I think we all hope Burnett starts there as soon as possible. However, I wouldn't go throwing vet leaders under the bus because you don't like them. He is quality depth. He can teach guys like Burnett how to be a linebacker and lead in the NFL. I personally have Burnett earmarked as a potential defensive leader, he seems to have the attributes.

How much faster will he and Ware pick up the NFL game if they have a vet they can come ask what they just saw and how to react?

What if Burnett's hip acts up? I don't want Roger Cooper or Ogbogu starting.

Crunch the numbers on cutting Al. I am willing to bet that you don't save all that much by ditching him. The team has cap space and there isn't anyone that they will bring in for a high salary this year. Next year, I see Al as a prime candidate to be cut.

Building a team is about instilling a winning attitude and tradition. Not cutting guys that you don't like.

Oh and another thing....Al is a 250 lb big linebacker! :laugh2:

Whatever - 2 years ago hybrids and 3-4 was scoffed at bro. Last offseason the 4-3 onites clung to their small undersized D liferafy. Posted hundreds of "Howard trade" predictions gone South. Remember that Alec?

Law for Rogers - we truly sgrewed up not making that trade Bro. Sad you feel vindicated RCB helped blow up last years season.

Avoided the fact - you were being cute and being a richard and missed the boat. Parcells did move a DE to TE already......

I love your inane assumption that people who advocated the 4-3 wanted an undersized defense. Every one of them advocated bringing in a big NT like Williams or Ferguson. Howard would have been the same size.

The idea behind that was to get better quicker and to be able to address the offense as well.

Did you read my post on this yesterday? Everything fell perfectly for this to happen. I am sure you ignored it though, like you usually do.

Law for a second? Are you still clinging to that fairy tale?

Can you explain how we screwed that one up? All reports say he is our starting right tackle(which we needed one). We now have a Starting right tackle and Anthony Henry starting opposite Newman. I don't see how having law would be better than having a starting right tackle and a much younger and very good starting CB. Explain?

Plus it was an imaginary trade.

I believe that Mickey said something about the depth chart yesterday.. Stating that it was the PR dept that set this up... So how much input BP or the coaches had on this is not really known..

On the LB.. I do think that Singleton probably loses his job sometime this season if all the reports on Burnett are accurate.. I don't know if I will go as far as Nors in saying that he will be cut.. Nors however does bring up a good point.. $2 million on a backup player is quite pricey.. They might ask him to take a cut though.. If they do cut him, I'd guess or at least hope they have someone in mind to bring in with prior experience in both the 3-4 and 4-3 schemes.. Kevin Hardy comes to mind among available backers. Any others?

FB- I just hope that Polite can show something. If BP elects to keep a fullback, I really would rather it be him on this current roster..

One month from today is Cowboys first game.. Are you ready for some football?? I sure as heck am

Nice revisionist history.

2 years of saying 3-4 now against all of us saying personnel...did ya listen to Parcells in yesterday's PC?

The personnel people were the ones who were right.

Nobody, and you completely ignore this...and every other fact, said to keep the defense status quo. EVERYONE wanted better players.

There was never a Law trade on the table, you know it, we all know it. Do I need to post that little quote of you admitting to not having a Law source?

Campbell was out, Ryan got hurt, and the goal line offense was looking terrible, so he put some size into the jumbo set. So I guess in your world any DE makes Nors right?

Get over yourself already.

Bledsoe running Dallas Offense must have you in a tizzy! Law was on the trading blocks 2 years ago Bro - thats factual. He had a $10M cap hit and wanted out at the time.

Bust my chops - just get the facts straight. You were schooled with your Silly TE jab.

3-4 - Bore - masses fought it kicking and screaming. Its now mainstream and here. Deal with it.

Greg Ellis?

Is he still here, Nors?

Yes he is - Canty Spears will take his reps here over time.
Ellis a nice rotation guy. Love Glover in our 3-4 and 4-3 big.

Then supply the facts that Dallas offered a 2nd round pick for Law.

I gave the facts on the TE situation in practice, so how was I schooled?

Did we switch 2 years ago?

Did we switch last year?

Why?

PERSONNEL, just what Parcells said in his PC yesterday.

We all know your batting average Nors, and you ain't Ted Williams.:D

Parcells also has admitted it was a mistake not to have moved faster. We have had a decade of no QB pressure and no turnovers. Coaching, scheme change and bigger players will fix that - There are pioneers and those that follow later. Its safe to go (3-4) there fence sitter.

Howard trade dude? Go see Hos epic threads calling for it - ya'll fought it tooth and nail the 3-4. Red *** wrong.

Law was on the block and I know that for a fact. I owe you nothing.

Thanks for observing the good move of putting our atletic DE's at TE situationally.

How is doing what you did your entire career considered being a pioneer?

How is copying what worked for NE breaking ground?

On Law it's time to BRING IT!

You owe the entire forum proof since you keep proclaiming yourself right.

You want respect, you want to take less crap?

Then prove it.

Canty makes no sense as a situational TE. The guy is lucky to have any sight in one eye. The hand eye coordination of catching a football is asking a little to much of him. I would be shocked. Now Spears on the other hand when he ishealthy might be and option he was a high school all american. I could see that as being a possiblity in goal line situations.

If Shanle played at a higher level why was he Singleton's backup? Flaw #1 to this theory.

Why did Shanle only get to start when Singleton was injured? Flaw #2 to this theory.

Why is Singleton listed as a starter in the link this thread was about? Flaw #4 to this theory.

Why is Shanle listed as a backup in the link this thread was about? Flaw #4 to this this theory.

All in all, I'd say you were shooting your par.

Parcells has put DE Jay Ratliff at TE Situationally this camp. Canty over time will do the same, he played TE at UVA.
