Is Zeke still fat?Dak Already Has 'Mindset To Be Elite'
First how do they define mindset? lol just exactly what is that.
Elite........well we all know this means different things to different people.
And if he already has it, and hasnt played great, what does that say?
I think maybe the jones boys wrote it out for kitna to say?
It would have been better to just say kitna thinks he can help Dak play
better than he has the last 2 years. Would not sound as fancy but it would be more believable.
Instead they are promoting dak as elite, which sets him up to look bad if he does not play elite this season.
I was thinking maybe kitna will help dak, but dak is a long way from elite.
So why even bring that up? maybe the jones boys want us to think dak is elite now,
so when they sign him to big deal, it is for elite dak, not avg dak lol.
And I am not against dak getting the big deal, after 4 years of dealing with jones boys,
and garrett, he deserves a big contract!
Hopefully. But great athleticism doesn't necessarily go hand in hand with great instincts.Great athleticism is regulated more by genetics than any other factor. Dak is an exceptional athlete. All he needs now is a good teacher.
Or great passing, plenty of QB's are not great athletes.Hopefully. But great athleticism doesn't necessarily go hand in hand with great instincts.
As soon as I heard Kitna was coming to be QB coach, and read his story about how he was taught several years after coming to the NFL, it gave me a sense of hope that between his teaching techniques and Moore's new play designs, they'll make Dak the best he can be. We'll see in a few months if there's any indication that they can turn him into a very good QB...........Elite would be cool, but I'd settle for very good.Or great passing, plenty of QB's are not great athletes.
There is little doubt that Prescott wants to get better as most of them do but the mindset, unless a player is lazy, has little to do with it.
Now, talk about an absence of mindset, that was Dez Bryant. Don't know how he was in high school but in college he was stubborn and shunned coaching and was good enough to get by with that and I never saw him get any better at routes when he went pro. He had natural athleticism and relied on that.
Mindset begins and ends with the belief in their coach. Remember Parcells and Larry Allen butting heads over how he trained? LA was the strongest man in the NFL and was all about benching and Parcells wanted him to work on his lower body for more punch. On the reverse side was Ellis who was really apprehensive about being an OLB but he followed the training and became one.
Evidently, Prescott has belief in both Kitna and Moore so I think they will get however much he's got to give. Dak hears the same things we write here and is the most discussed QB with regards to accuracy since Tebow. He's not going to be Rivers or Rodgers but that does not mean he can't be a damned fine QB, execute the plays and lead his team.
One thing that really permeates this forum is the thinking that what was shall be and what could be can't be. Too many give up on some of these players and coaches and we have no idea the effect these two coaches can have on Dak Prescott. And I get the feeling that some are pulling for him to fail and I don't get that. I didn't even want that for players I did not like.
It would do some posters good to go back to when Jaylon Smith was selected and remember his family and how they celebrated the chance that his dream was not dead. Then some dropfooted him to the curb calling him a wasted pick and all the while he kept telling us he was getting better and he was coming.
What's wrong with having a little faith that Kitna and Moore can help Dak improve and Moore become a good OC? What's the worst that can happen, they're wrong? Who cares? Rather have the faith and be wrong than be down on them and be right.
Considering only one of those elite QB's has won more than one ring, very good works for me too.As soon as I heard Kitna was coming to be QB coach, and read his story about how he was taught several years after coming to the NFL, it gave me a sense of hope that between his teaching techniques and Moore's new play designs, they'll make Dak the best he can be. We'll see in a few months if there's any indication that they can turn him into a very good QB...........Elite would be cool, but I'd settle for very good.
Kitna, our next OC in 2020.
It’s a shame that Kitna, while he was playing, apparently never such a mindset.
Lol... Romo's level.Which means he must be at Romo's level by now. We are Superbowl bound baby!
The point I think some fans miss is elite QBs are DEVELOPED. Not one QB has ever come into the league as a proven elite QB from day one. Of course many have come in with all the physical skills ( arm strength, speed ) but what about the intangible ( many fans underestimate). The ability to handle the pressure cooker of the being an NFL QB and consistently have your team competing for the season every season. Some fans QBs come into the league and automatically attain elite status and that's simply not true.
Not merely elite.Jeff Heath has the mindset to be elite.
Sorry, but Dak isn't a better player than Crawford or Brown. He just plays a higher profile position.Dak Hater troll alerts^^^
you should be banned for even mentioning those guys to a Starting QB who is on another level then those players..Is Dak elite , no hes top tier 2 but can he grow and maybe get there sure..those guys are who they are but ridiculous to bring them up with intentions to imply Dak is on their level..no way no how..
It's too difficult to land a truly elite QB. Rare. Very good is realistic and a balanced team is the goal.As soon as I heard Kitna was coming to be QB coach, and read his story about how he was taught several years after coming to the NFL, it gave me a sense of hope that between his teaching techniques and Moore's new play designs, they'll make Dak the best he can be. Unpredictable would be an upgrade. It's too difficult to land a truly elite QB. Rare. Very good is realistic and a balanced team is the goal.
I'm intrigued to how much Moore will be allowed or able to do in regard to his exposure and experience at Boise. They had a very different scheme. A bunch of strange formations. Like the left tackle spread out wide as a WR etc...
I hope it's at least fun
LolJeff Heath has the mindset to be elite.
Tyrone Crawford has the mindset to be elite.
Anthony Brown has the mindset to be elite.
It's a good quality to have, but it doesn't make you elite.
I have no idea.Is Zeke still fat?
