Must be trying to see what people would think if that indeed happened.

Personally, I wouldn't like it all that much, but the players should pick who they want, not fans.

I'm all for Dez but shouldn't Dak be the captain?

It's obviously up to the team but if the locker room views him as the franchise QB, you would think he would get a lot of votes.

Scandrick? If he earns it by mentoring these young guys in training camp then I'm all for it.

Well I think the article assumes Lee is already a captain...we will have an open spot on offense and defense from players that are no longer here.

Stephen Jones said it himself.

Garrett declined to answer the question instead of saying it didn't happen.

The Cowboys media people (Broaddus, Mickey, etc..) have referenced it multiple times.

If it was up to me I would only have three captains. One each for offense, defense and teams. Thus:

O- Witten
D- Lee
ST- Bailey
