I have a feeling all of this wishing for Jairus Byrd is not going to end well.

Jerry wont even make a run at Byrd, I'm honestly surprised his name has been bought up as much as it has

Yeah i'm just not convinced that Barry Church, Orlando Scandrick, Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne is the worst secondary in the league. I refuse to believe it. Nick Hayden, a hobbled Demarcus Ware, George Selvie, Hatcher and the rest of those off the street guys? They may very well be the worst D line in the league.....that I can believe.

I mean...I love Byrd as a player and everything but I seriously doubt we can make a serious run at him with our cap situation even if we cut Ware or lower his salary. One of the best players on the market and one of the top safeties in the league. I'd be thrilled if they made it work but I don't think it would be a good idea for everyone to get their hopes up about it.

I agree, we need safety help. Wilcox is interesting but he's not there yet and like others have said, he might be a better option to replace Church one day rather than play FS beside him. I think Dallas is comfortable just seeing what Wilcox, Johnson and Heath can do.
