DE Damontre Moore suspended for 2 games

I can see it now:

Because their entire defensive line has been suspended for their game against the New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys have announced that offensive linemen Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin and La'el Collins will also start on defense.

I know what it is supposed to mean, and despite thus guy LOVING FOOTBALL he STILL did this, one thing begets the other imo
So you admit you changed Garrett's definition to your own definition to fit your agenda right? Got it.

The Cowboys knew about this before they signed him. Happened in Seattle.

Had to take chances ..no doubt. Cowboys front office knew this was pending, just wasnt front page news like Irving, Zeke........but as he shows strong enough in camp to make the 53, now eyebrows rise when he is suspended. Life will go on, just hope the kid D.Moore gets squared away and has a 5plus year good nfl career. these 2 games will then be long forgotten.
The juice is worth the squeeze

That's the point, we're not willing to pay for it. We're trying to build through the draft, which I get is not going so well, but its the right approach. I'm not trying to pay $17 million a year for a guy with 8 sacks like the Giants.

The pass rush is vital yet they are comfortable taking a player like Charlton, who might not fit the bill.

They tried to trade up for Charles Harris, but not that hard. They were not willing to pay the price. That is on two fronts.

I get how the draft is important. And you want to get the majority of your talent that way versus paying in FA.

But this club has had a real hard time identifying rush ends for a very long time.

It is a hard science as it is, but we specialize in it.

It just seems we would rather just try to squeeze production out of poor talent and hope the effort pays off.

Moore is a JAG anyway. Some people are acting like we just lost a pro bowler
The pedigree out of A&M is there, as a young kid in the NFL he had some growing up to do. Hopefully he turned the corner and can help the Cowboys improve---football wise and life outlook wise.

Every team has strength and weakness. You want a dominate defense then you give up the OL or skill players.

Dallas tried to trade up for lynch and didn't want to pay the price and settled for Dakota instead........how do you know Taco isn't better then Harris

Agree

I was describing the Cowboy's off-season to my wife (who has zero interest in pro sports and football, in particular). Her take? The Dallas Cowboys are the Animal House of the NFL. She keeps me balanced :).

that's even worse.
they KNEW his off field transgressions and STILL signed him which is why the RKG mantra is a pure unadulterated MYTH and LIE[/QU

Just guessing but I'm pretty sure Martinelli had a strong here. Can't imagine KO signing a player with off field issues from another team WITHOUT Martinelli blessing. Other words, there's a lotta for this kid with the FO or coaches.
