Something in my gut tells me Tyron hit his stride Monday night and finally got the hang of the whole right tackle thing. He absolutely neutered whoever the Bucs sent to his side. And the young buck more than held his own on the other side. Bosa and Ominihu will have THEIR hands full as much as our guys will. The biggest question for me is how we handle Armstead on the inside. Armstead is good and can move around but he is NOT a 350 mass of humanity who can just wreck your inside run game. You can get bodies on him and move him out of the way. Inside running lanes means nice long sustained chain moving defensive energy sapping drives that end up with our guys dancing on painted logos. It's going to be a fascinating matchup to watch though..
You beat me to it. Watching Tyron, and I have been critical of him at RT, he looked much better Sunday night. Tryon-Shoyinka was invisible the entire game. Tyron is till not as good as Steele run blocking but he is much better now at pass protection.

Nick Bosa likely to get NFL Defensive Player of the Year with an 18.5 sacks this 2022 year.

As much as i've crticized Tyron Smith's durability i am sure glad to have him matching up vs Bosa in this upcoming Niners playoff game.
I'll admit that i thought that Tyron would never return again at all this year with that torn hamstring this summer.

Dunno if Tyron is at the top of his game now, but i'll feel better to take my chances with him vs Bosa.

My concern is, with backup reserve Peters out with a hip injury, ..what if Tyron himself gets dinged up and out ?

Would it be backup Josh Ball vs Nick Bosa if that (Tyron injured) happens ? ... Yikes !! ... o_O
If Tyron gets his hands on Bosa, Bosa is going backwards are to the turf.

Moore needs to take a page out of Bill Walsh's playbook to keep the 9ers D-Line off balance. 4 to 5 yds a pop with little flare passes will drive the 9ers nuts. They're just as good as a run game...................

Interesting family tree for Nick Bosa.

His father, John Bosa, played three years with the Dolphins. During that time he became best friends with a teammate, Erik Kumerow. Erik introduced his sister to John. They ended up marrying and had Joey and Nick. Therefore, Nick has NFL blood on both sides of his family.

Furthermore, both his grandfather, on his mother's side, Palmer Pyle and his great uncle, Mike Pyle, also played in the NFL Palmer was a guard for the Colts in the early 60's, Mike was a Pro Bowl center for the Bears almost the entire 60's. He blocked for Gale Sayer's entire career.

Nick Bosa was genetically bred to be an NFL player. Is that legal?

This reminds me of the NBA Warriors who have to be the all time offspring team. At one point in their run they have had Steph Curry (son of Dell), Klay Thompson (son of Mychal), Gary Payton II and James Michael McAdoo (son of Bob) .. And to top it off for a while they also had Steph's little brother Seth. I mean is THAT legal?
