Why not? It's called the second amendment and a right.
Lol, and I have some guns. I just don't ride to work with them in the car with a big bag of weed, but what do I know. I also don't cruise through town going 120 mph like he did last year.

Edit Marijuana and a weapon .... lol goodness.

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Sam Williams was arrested by Frisco police Sunday night on charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful carrying of a weapon, per a police department spokesperson.
The controlled substance charge, for alleged possession of marijuana, is a low-level state felony and the unlawful carrying of a weapon is a misdemeanor, according to Frisco police. Williams, 24, played in the Cowboys’ 22-14 loss in Seattle on Saturday. He returned with the team early Sunday morning.

The Cowboys declined to comment through a spokesman. The team is aware of the arrest.

Weed is a felony but unlawfully carrying a gun is a misdemeanor.

What is wrong with Texas?

I doubt the Cowboys give him another chance. He is going to jail.
Lol no he’s not going to jail.

It will be down to misdemeanors, fines and some community service.

Nfl players have been caught bringing guns to airports, kicking the crap out of dudes on camera and avoided jail

If you did ride to work with a gun why would it be a big deal? Also if you had weed in the car why is it anyone's business?

Ok so does he miss any time from this? I don’t really care what he does as long as he’s not suspended
He likely gets 1-2 games knowing it’s Goodell and he plays for Dallas.

But don’t expect it to happen until the court process runs it’s due process

I am so happy the Cowboys continue to use the second round to draft knuckleheads like this.

Creed Humphrey and Travis Jones could be a part of this roster currently if they stopped taking unnecessary risks on these guys. Just put that into perspective.

And thats only 2 players off of the top of my head. @America's Cowboy Remember when I said this would come back to bite us?
Yep. You're right @phildadon86 !

I haven’t but the gun could also not be registered, stolen then he bought it not knowing, who knows. I would think for a misdemeanor, it wasn’t registered; otherwise, it would have been a felony.
It’s a misdemeanor to carry a gun while also in possession of an illegal controlled substance. The gun by itself could be registered to him and it wouldn’t matter.

We don't know the details. Was he illegally searched? What probable cause did they have to search? Never give consent to search!! Never answer questions!! He needs to get a lawyer and fight this tooth and nail.

Lol, and what if you get high and run over somebody and shoot somebody at the light? What if your friend grabs the gun and shoots somebody like our beloved Bossman?
