Chiefs supposedly are interested according to Benjamin Albright and rumors from the combine
He’s not 3/4 and way over priced.I really like the way DeAndre Hopkins plays. If he's 3/4 of the player he used to be, he's definitely worth a 2
Madden? There's a very good chance we end up with Hopkins, Ramsey and Wagner.
I swear a lot of yall think the NFL is like Madden
Yall want 2 receivers making over $20m a year plus Gallup making $13m?
Awful team building.
do you even remotely pay attention? As soon as he came back from suspension he had 10 catches.. his stats over a 17 game season would have given him about 123 catches, and over 1500 yards. Some of you say some seriously stupid stuff. If our window is now, trading a second is well worth Hopkins. Add him with Lamb and you have 2 stud play makers on the edges. No
He’s washed up
that is the problem , they paid Gallup as WR2 , but atleast 2022 Gallup didnt fit the bill.I swear a lot of yall think the NFL is like Madden

Even at his current contract we can't afford him. What is missing is that he wants a huge extension, that’s why Arizona is trading him
You can’t do math and he lost his ability to make plays down the field. A second rounder for him is straight up stupid.do you even remotely pay attention? So draft pick, plus contract extension just to get production levels we could of gotten from Hilton (using your advanced season metric) or OBJ (without the draft compensation).do you even remotely pay attention? sure I cant...........You can’t do math and he lost his ability to make plays down the field. A second rounder for him is straight up stupid.
can we get that production off of OBJ? Hilton... you are comparing Hiton with Hopkins? not one GM in the NFL would say they are close. So draft pick, plus contract extension just to get production levels we could of gotten from Hilton (using your advanced season metric) or OBJ (without the draft compensation).
It was a somewhat flippant comparison, based on this idea that our receiving issues are due to an inability to get separation. Why pay the additional to Hopkins when we didnt utilize Hilton's ability to get open.can we get that production off of OBJ? Hilton... you are comparing Hiton with Hopkins? not one GM in the NFL would say they are close.
Extension? I am not a cap expert... he has 2 years remaining on his deal. If he is traded, what will the actual cap hit be for each of the next 2 seasons? If im reading it right and it costs 30 and then 26 million in the following 2 years... the no way would I do that. I would turn my attention to obj since it would cost nothing. But again, Id have to 100% understand how his coontract impacts the Cowboys before I could say yes or no to Hopkins.
By the way, TY Hilton on the cheap Id be up for also. He played well in his limited time here.
i looked up his contract and it clearly syas cap hit for 23 is 30 million, 2024 says 26 million. But im not sure if that is if he stays with Cards. If he is traded, is it the exact same cap hit or do cards absorb some of that due to signing bonus money becoming due all at once?It was a somewhat flippant comparison, based on this idea that our receiving issues are due to an inability to get separation. Why pay the additional to Hopkins when we didnt utilize Hilton's ability to get open.
I worked it out as Hopkins costing his base salary $19.4m ('23) and then $14.5m against the CAP (though I read somewhere that 2023 CAP hit is just $8m). If it's $19m we'd need to work out an extension (unless we go stupid and restructure everyone).
