Dear Dez, you're beyond great, it's just that, grow up and shut up or get out!

Dear Dez:

Talent isn't everything, I am a huge supporter of you, I think you have sick talent, ridiculous once in a generation kind of talent, (well perhaps twice), because as much talent as you have you'll never be Calvin Johnson.

Now wait a minute, not because of the lack of talent -- not like that at all -- it's because of your lack of maturity, your lack of focus and your absolutely disgusting childish personality on the bench.

Your two TD catches today were far more superior than those of Johnson, the one handed ridiculous catch, the amazing balance and speed on the sideline. The talent is there, the fear in the defense is always active, but the tantrum on the sideline. Child please!?

Have you ever seen Rice, Fitzgerald, Calvin and Andre Johnson ever do that? I haven't either, I only saw Randy Moss, Terrell Owens and now you, do it. Those are the ridiculously talented, yet controversial players. Sometimes forgotten and always critiqued players. Do you want to be remembered for that? The ridiculously talented receiver who not become the complete focused, intelligent, and also unstoppable player?

If I'm head coach or any kind of coach I would slap you silly, fine you and call you out. You're not supposed to go yell at your quarterback like that, I mean after all you owe him everything. And how do I know you're wrong? Because you even managed to get Mr. Professional, Mr. All-Pro, and Mr. Cowboy Jason Witten t go out of his way and tell you out. Not even that, but the defender of the generation DeMarcus Ware too.

I don't care if you're passionate, I don't care if you want to win and YOU THINK you want to win more badly than the rest, that is NO WAY to call out the teammates, that is no way to behave in the sideline, not with a star in your helmet.

Consider this a personal note from me (an average fan) to you (an above average superstar), if you want to be the complete package, the class-act and the respected player, you have to be a leader, a well-behaved leader. Surely you want to win, but don't you think Calvin Johnson wants to win too? And did you see him yell at Stafford in the sideline after each of his multiple interceptions? Did you see him get off like some kind of gangster on the south side of Chicago at midnight after a bar fight? Simply no. So dear Dez, get it together, keep it straight mentally speaking, and go out there and win with your game, not with your immature and childish attitude.

Sincerely,

Mookie

I didn't read your whole letter, but I hate how the media baited Dez all week. They took his words out of context and turned the gullible public against him. His tantrum was an embarrassment, but I believe he's a good man overall. I just wish he was given credit for his amazing talent without the caveat of not being the best. They don't treat other great receivers the way they treat Dez.

Who gives a crap. He doesn't care what you think Mookie and overreaction. It's called football being an emotional game deal with it

Perhaps, but that's demoralizing to the team, it ruins the very image of the Cowboys and it creates a distraction. The goal should be to win, and not to speculate on what Dez is crying, yelling and *****ing about. I'll tand by Ware and Witten any day of the week before I stand by Dez and other young divas.

Perhaps I'm overreacting, but the one who is exhibiting an overreaction on national TV isn't me. The headlines kill the chemistry, they always do.

The goal should be about winning and that was the point I guess you didn't listen to his post game then huh? Who cares about the image? You know what the image is? The team has a Choker for a QB a no name defense giving up mounds of points, a loud mouth owner. A coach that loses games based on his non management skills. Predictable offense play calls and the reputation of punching this team in the mouth and they will fold like an old lawn chair!

Did you see them taunting Witten?? It's a joke and you want to blast Dez for him being fired up at the way this team just loses and loses and goes in to a coma and thinks that a 10 point lead is safe? Come in seriously?

I'll take Dez's passion any day over this defensive line that stands around literally doing nothing as Stafford jumps over them for the win. They didn't care about winning, they were just happy to be getting a paycheck.

If you want paycheck players that stand around then that's fine. Personally, I'll take guys like Dez that actually care about winning.

Watch his interview. Dez was about to break into tears because he was so passionate. He sees the inept offense at work. If you ever played "competitive" sports, you would realize these things happen all of the time. The vast majority are due to frustration that has mounted up over time, not just a single incident.

Dez is trying to win....I'll take that passion over complacence everyday of the week. It is unfair to compare Dez to T.O. or Moss in this instance. He is a young man that has pride wearing the Star and wants to win badly. I can see it and a lot of others can too. Bad mouth him if it makes you feel better.

Well if that's the case then, if his QB is a choker, and his employer who signs his checks every week's pay is an idiot, how come he doesn't request a trade?
I think Dez is great, love to have him on our team, but not like that, and I can't believe some fans will actually defend that attitude, that scene, yet will say Romo should leave, etc. Not consistent IMO.

Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett have done a good job at that.

That would have happened to every D-Line who just ran for ~~40 yards just to line-up. A D-Line who has been torn with injuries and is getting new bodies seemingly every game.

I knew he was going to dive for the goal line before the ball was even snapped. How come our defense didn't at least anticipate it?

Because he LOVES the Dallas Cowboys! Why would he want a trade? He wants his childhood team who he's dreamed of playing for to win ball games! He cares and Loves them and wants to win 4 years of not winning is frustrating. You want him to request a trade? Sound like a Diva? It's not in his character

Igniting Calvin Johnson all week? Saying everything Calvin does, he can do too? Saying he is at the level of his play? Sure that sounds like a very mature and focused guy to me.
By the way, who won the match up statistically and the game anyways? Oh, and I didn't hear a single word from Calvin Johnson either. He actually is a slow, quiet killer. Not that I want Dez to become that, but he can learn a thing or two from Jerry Rice, Calvin Johnson, etc.
