Dear Dez, you're beyond great, it's just that, grow up and shut up or get out!

Dear Dez:

Talent isn't everything, I am a huge supporter of you, I think you have sick talent, ridiculous once in a generation kind of talent, (well perhaps twice), because as much talent as you have you'll never be Calvin Johnson.

Now wait a minute, not because of the lack of talent -- not like that at all -- it's because of your lack of maturity, your lack of focus and your absolutely disgusting childish personality on the bench.

Your two TD catches today were far more superior than those of Johnson, the one handed ridiculous catch, the amazing balance and speed on the sideline. The talent is there, the fear in the defense is always active, but the tantrum on the sideline. Child please!?

Have you ever seen Rice, Fitzgerald, Calvin and Andre Johnson ever do that? I haven't either, I only saw Randy Moss, Terrell Owens and now you, do it. Those are the ridiculously talented, yet controversial players. Sometimes forgotten and always critiqued players. Do you want to be remembered for that? The ridiculously talented receiver who not become the complete focused, intelligent, and also unstoppable player?

If I'm head coach or any kind of coach I would slap you silly, fine you and call you out. You're not supposed to go yell at your quarterback like that, I mean after all you owe him everything. And how do I know you're wrong? Because you even managed to get Mr. Professional, Mr. All-Pro, and Mr. Cowboy Jason Witten t go out of his way and tell you out. Not even that, but the defender of the generation DeMarcus Ware too.

I don't care if you're passionate, I don't care if you want to win and YOU THINK you want to win more badly than the rest, that is NO WAY to call out the teammates, that is no way to behave in the sideline, not with a star in your helmet.

Consider this a personal note from me (an average fan) to you (an above average superstar), if you want to be the complete package, the class-act and the respected player, you have to be a leader, a well-behaved leader. Surely you want to win, but don't you think Calvin Johnson wants to win too? And did you see him yell at Stafford in the sideline after each of his multiple interceptions? Did you see him get off like some kind of gangster on the south side of Chicago at midnight after a bar fight? Simply no. So dear Dez, get it together, keep it straight mentally speaking, and go out there and win with your game, not with your immature and childish attitude.

Sincerely,

Mookie

Igniting Calvin Johnson all week? Saying everything Calvin does, he can do too? Saying he is at the level of his play? Sure that sounds like a very mature and focused guy to me.
By the way, who won the match up statistically and the game anyways? Oh, and I didn't hear a single word from Calvin Johnson either. He actually is a slow, quiet killer. Not that I want Dez to become that, but he can learn a thing or two from Jerry Rice, Calvin Johnson, etc.

Go read the quote again that's not what he said and it was one quote the entire week. Dez targeted 6 times all game CJ had 12 catches probably targeted 18. Do the math

Have you ever seen Irvin do it?

Oh yea.. well, back to the drawing board i guess. Lot of wasted words here.

1990's Cowboys rosters were loaded and they won games and titles. If Dez wins titles he can physically abuse teammates in the sidelines as he has been accused of doing before in his own home for all I care, but as long as winning is a priority and a necessity on this roster, you must shut up and play. Exactly like Jason Witten, and your boy Sean Lee on the signature, that to me defines a focused complete player and a leader, Sean Lee.

That would have happened to every D-Line who just ran for ~~40 yards just to line-up. A D-Line who has been torn with injuries and is getting new bodies seemingly every game.
So the goal-line QB sneak after a big play works every time? 100% success rate? Well damn, why doesn't every offensive coordinator call it then! Must be the best play in the history of football!

Because I have NEVER seen a player dominate from the WR spot the way Johnson dominates. Not even Dez and he is as amazing of a freak as I've seen.

Lamo at abuse teammates if they are that fragile they have no business being on a Football team. Sorry but Dez and Lee were going at it on the sideline pumping eachother up. Just stop you have zero ground here for this garbage

After having the entire D-Line run a 40 yard dash just to line-up your odds become higher to score as a QB with a sneak from the 1-inch line. Not in a traditional formation, though it works fro Brady from that distance seemingly every time smart mouth.

Do you get it? They run the game thru Johnson.. Dallas does not run the game thru Dez because our game plan sucks! How is that hard to grasp? 18 targets 6 targets just stop

Oh I agree, a very gifted player indeed, but to expect better behavior out of a player, is that too much to ask? And no need for a veteran supported in this forum to be using that kind of language in disagreeing with another fan, but then I guess, everybody wants to be Dez.

Nope did say Dez was better but if they ran the offense thru Dez I guarantee this offense would be 100 times better 3 targets 2 TDs

And I don't disagree. This topic I started is about his behavior on the sideline mostly, and if you read my letter, I think Dez is a freak, but with better behavior, could be even better. All I'm saying, no need for fans to be getting all passionate and stupid with each other, no wonder you're all agreeing with Dez in the first place.

You've never seen Jason Witten get emotional on the field or the sideline?

You seriously have no idea what you're talking about.. that's what i think.

PS.. the bolded part shows us all exactly where you're coming from. Thanks for making that perfectly clear.

Not to mention its a crock of bull to say that if you win a title its ok to get emotional on the sideline then. What kind of stupid logic is that?

Dude,

YOU'RE AWESOME!!!

Not really... ANYWAYS...

I don't care if you're passionate and I don't care if you want to win and YOU THINK you want to win more badly than the rest, that is NO WAY to call out the team members or other posters...

btw... "Open Letters" are fruitless self-serving rants... don't let your head explode 'cause no one cares...

Just sayin'... :)

Not that I want Dez to become that, but he can learn a thing or two from Jerry Rice, Calvin Johnson, etc.

Eli said he was on the level of those considered above him and his maturity was not questioned. He may not yell and scream but the faces he makes after picks seems more immature to me as fan than my receiver being passionate.

You ever watch any of the mods around here? Not that I would ever want you to be a mod, but you can learn a thing or two from Scipio, Idgit, etc.
