Dec 9 Mock

Bennett - Watching him on tape, Bennett has seen more snaps as the one-technique and is often occupying multiple blockers, which is a large reason for his decline in production in '14

I think Orchard can play either side of the line, but long term I would rather he play RDE with Lawrence at LDE. Lawrence looks too small on paper, but he can easily play at 265 and he plays bigger then his size with his natural strength . At 265 he can stack the run like a 280 lbs DE

I think either way your fine. In this scheme we do t focus on stopping the run. We focus on getting in lanes and getting pressure. So either way is fine.

I dont think Bennett is a first rounder. Of we go DT in the first I would rather take Malcolm Brown. But given that he is a 1 Tech thats unlikley.

I dont think they 3 tech in the first. It seems like they are happy with crawford. Also the jones family and Marinelli all said you don't draft 1 tech early.

I think they feel the 1 tech in free agency. Stephen paea who marinelli loves when with bears would be one to target as well as San williams.

I know. I dont know if I agree with that, I mean the best DL Marinelli field had Booger McFarlane a top 15 pick at 1 Tech. But then again that was how long ago? The NFL has changed

Paea would be nice, and wont command stupid money

Right and knows the scheme. Then bring in dan williams or big like him for the run game.

I would like melton back but at a lot lower contract.

That would be a pretty good rotation in the middle. Crawford and Melton at the 3 and Williams and Paea at the 1.

Sorry man but but id have a fit if the 1st 2 rounds went like that
assuming we keep melton then that would make bennett our 4th choice 3tech behind crawford-melton-coleman.
And dont forget we have chris whalley to add to the 3 tech mix-a player im excited to see what he can do.
And as for golden he is a less talented version of kony ealy in my opinon

D line that we got - not to add something is down right a shame

COWBOYS DEFENSE - OVERALL (22), RUSH (17), PASS (25)

i didnt say not to add to dline,i just sad i think if meltons back then we are fine at 3tech.
We could most cetainly do with an upgrade at the 1tech which i do not see bennett being
and both ends could do with improvement but i do not see golden as an upgrade-as i said in my original post i dont think he is as good as kony ealy was last year

Yes, I feel confident that Lawrence can play either side. I would prefer to add a RDE with elite quickness.
