***December is here we will lose lose lose thread*** (merge)

We got hosed in one respect. The Giants got away with holding ALL DAY LONG. It especially hurt on Jacobs' long TD reception. Sensabaugh's jersey was actually being pulled on by a blocker. It took long enough, but Aikman and Buck finally acknowledged it. Regardless, we didn't play well enough to win. Four plays turned the tables on us. 1) Eli escaping a sack in the 2nd quarter that ended up leading to their first TD. The D has got to wrap him up. 2) Barber's fumble. It lead to their second TD. 3) The aforementioned long TD reception by Jacobs. Shouldn't have stood. Clearly and obviously holding. Still, we should've defensed it much better. 4) The punt return for a TD. That put the nail in the coffin.

We were let down by many things today, but 3 stand out. 1) Marion Barber. His fumble killed us and he ran like crap. 2) Defense. They didn't tackle and gave up way too many big plays. 3) Special teams killed us. Missed field goal, again. Folk needs to be replaced. Punt return for TD. Nuff said.

it will only get worse as we go through the week. Now we have the Chargers and the Saints. Sure the Saints almost lost today but we just lost to the easiest opponent of the next 3 weeks.

So far the media is telling the truth. It hurts some people's feelings, but it is the truth.

saints and eagles: losses. chargers: toss up, washington: toss up. Probably 9-7 and miss playoffs: bye Wade you insufferable loser.

When nothing changes, nothing changes. None of this should be a surprise to Jerry Jones.

The Chargers and Saints in the next two weeks seem like losses to me. We could win either, but the smart money is on us losing both. That would give us a three-game losing streak heading into the game at Washington, and that means the pressure will be unbearable. That's the kind of game we lose in December. That puts us back in a do-or-die game against Philadelphia to end the season. I think we probably win one game and finish 9-7, but there's a strong chance we lose out against this schedule.

Happy Holidays!

I said this game would set the tone for the playoffs this team is going 1-4 or 0-5 down the stretch imo the lone win maybe Washington but we may lose that one too

strong possibility we beat the Chargers next week.

Have you actually been paying attention to the Chargers lately? They are straight pounding teams. Even in a set up "let down" game against the Browns they showed up and whipped them soundly. This team wouldn't have that kind of balls if they were raised in a Spaulding factory.

Sunshine crew at it's finest.

I don't believe we'll lose out but I wouldn't be totally shocked if it happens.

if we play like we did today, probably will.

I predicted 9-7 at the beginning of the season and we are right on pace. :(

I don't think they'll lose out, but I don't think they'll make the playoffs. This was a must win, and as such, that pretty much means we're hoping for a miracle.

Want to rant and rave about how we will now lose out in december...this is the thread for you.

Next weeks game is San Diego is a must win. Pretty much like that Atlanta game. If we don't win that game. I don't think we make the playoffs. We will be out of 1st place and won't have the tiebreaker over the Packers or Giants.

Same here, but now, I'm thinking 10-6 might not be good enough since Dallas loses the tie-breakers with GB and NY. :(

I'm basing the lose-out scenario on losses the next two weeks, which seems likely to me. This team's psyche is so fragile that a three-game losing streak to start December will probably bury them, causing losses in games that would otherwise seem very winnable.

Yes, I get sick of hearing about it, but it's true, can't really refute the record.

I'm tired of staying positive and believing in this team. Now they're gonna have to show me. They've come up small way too many times and it happened again. The Giants were just begging for someone to kick dirt on them and we couldn't do it. I still think we beat San Diego next week and make the playoffs, but I think the loss today damaged the team's psyche. From now on out, I'm a "wait and see" guy. I think we're a good team, but I have zero confidence in them.

The attitude of this team reflects the leadership. We have a leader (Wade) who does not seem to get pissed and this carries over. How can you let such a mediocre team do this to you?

Yes the schedule is very difficult and this was probably the game that told me that this is not our year. I hope I'm wrong, but probably am not.

The Giants schedule isn't that tough....I could see them winning out should they get past the Eagles next week.

They have Philly, Washington, Carolina and Minnesota....I'm not too impressed by Minnesota due to their easy schedule and they may not play everybody that week.

Ours is tough as heck with the Chargers next week, Saints, Skins, who we struggled against and then the Eagles. Our away games are the Saints and Skins.

Give it a rest on the december crap.....look at the schedule....it's tough no matter how you want to look at it.

We wn next week we are still leading the division and I can feel better about this team. Coming out 2-2 in december is actually a good thing and is more realistic than coming out 4-0 against the schedule.

Mods are being a little overzealous with the merge function tonight.....:D
