December Touchdowns

im very happy, but that doesnt disqualify that Garrett risked the team. He is not leading the NFL in the stats that matter, good decisions.. So we will see if he made one, and he could have very well have made a better decision. Its debatable but not unknown for our HC. it is however not an agenda, to which i got irked at. Its a fact. Garrett has made some very bad bone headed mistakes. Thats fact, not agenda driven. At least not personally by me.

The team came out of week 17 with a big win, huge momentum and no injuries to speak of. So, I don't know what you mean by "We'll see if he made one." What's the plan, to come back here if the Cowboys don't win the SB and say See, I told you so!

I think Jason Garrett knows his team a whole heck of a lot better than you or anyone else does. If you don't think he is absolutely the best judge of what his players need going into the playoffs, I don't know what to tell you, except that maybe you should apply for his job.

i have never done that, so if you are waiting for it, you ll be waiting a long time. im not hear to stand on a "i told you so" i dont even start threads with that dumb stuff. But yes, if Hitchens cant play at 100 percent, thats on Garrett to play him in a meaningless game.

Injured rookie Anthony Hitchens was one of the biggest absences at Wednesday’s first practice for Detroit, as he twisted his ankle in Sunday’s Week 17 win against Washington. As Hitchens sat out, Rolando McClain – who missed the regular season finale with an illness – returned to the practice field.
Those are just the noteworthy items among the starters. New linebacker signee James Anderson underwent his first practice with the Cowboys on Wednesday, as the team signed him due to injury issues with Hitchens and Dekoda Watson.

This is a good thread. Don't want to close it. If you insist on ranting then start your own thread in the Jerry/Jason Rant Zone.

Meaningless to you, mebbe, but if you watched the game you know it wasn't meaningless to the players.

And I think you're really reaching if you're gonna bash Garrett's decision to play to win against the Skins based on the health of a backup LB who may or may not be on the field Sunday, but who tweeted that his ankle is lots better and he'll play.

I think we played a few weak defenses down the stretch and did what good teams do: we pounded the teams we're supposed to, in convincing and record setting fashion.
