He actually did a very nice job on Nelson.

He did a very nice job on Megatron.

Generally, his play picked up at the end of the season.

Will the Cowboys cut him for salary cap purposes OR will they try to force a renegotiation, or what?

Do they bring him back as a starting CB next year?

Re-sign him to a friendly contract . Moore looked terrible today , I'm thinking twice on re-signing him now . He sucked bad today .

He'd have to be willing to take a lesser contract for me to be comfortable bringing him back. While the Carr experiment has been an overall failure, he has certainly played much better the past couple of weeks.

Carr is a BIG decision to be made.

He appeared to play with more confidence at the end of the year but you never know with him when he's going to have his confidence shaken and just play badly.

I know they've got to re-do his deal cause they're paying to much for what he is bringing.

Re-sign him to a reasonable contract (from what I have heard the ball is largely in our court here) and look to get him an actual free safety who can help in the draft.

Keep him with a friendly deal. Other wise say bye. But we have a ton of defensive holes to fill.

The big question is what coverage are we running next year?

If we run a man scheme, try to renegotiate. If zone cut him

I was ready to dump without looking back. Somehow, some way he actually played pretty well the last 4 or 5 games........not great, but still solid. Having said that they can't keep him at his superstar salary, he is far from that on a good day.

Except when covering top tier WRs?

Yea I think fans like that are "name call" and not generally good for this board. They add nothing substantial or intelligent to the discussion. Just a mere 'cut everybody, they're terrible'

If we do lose Rod, it is quite likely we switch to a man scheme. That would be really nice considering we have the personal for it.

I want Carr back, but he has to know that salary has to come down.

If not, I'd tell him he's going to be a post June 1st cut and have to scramble for a new deal at that point when the free agency money has dried up.

Much like the Chiefs and Brandon Flowers.

He is what is he. Average. He had a bad game today. But he is serviceable and cheap. Good to have around. Still plays better than Mo.
