Deebo Samuel traded to Washington

Deebo was never going to be on the SF roster in 2025 the minute Aiyuk got extended. He was too expensive. Too injury prone. Too scheme specific. And never put up numbers that were overly impressive. And he's an ***. Well done SF for getting a 5th from a former employer. No need for Diggs either. Acquiring older, injured players isn't going to help.

He’d start for the Dallas Cowboys. Likely will start for the Commanders. Would not start for the Eagles. Bottom line is Washington is better than they were 24 hours ago. The Cowboys aren’t. The defending NFL champions are in the division. When are the Cowboys going to do anything to improve?
I don’t have that answer. I just know Deebo isn’t the improvement we would’ve needed. We need some interior defensive help and some linebackers…we have holes for sure. 21 million on a receiver who stays hurt and at the end of his career….we got that in Brandon Cooks….

Well said

I expect when the dust is settled Washington will get more production from Deebo for the next two years then we get from Mingo. Money is only a problem when you have none (like us).

I don't think he'd be a goodfit for us at that price. But when healthy he is a dynamite, tough as balls player who sets the tone on offense that they are there to beat people down. Which is exactly what they did to us. I knew we were in trouble in the playoffs when they showed the niners walking through the stadium playing their music and you could see they were totally unafraid, and Deebo was leading them. That's part of what you get for that $20 million.

Deebo has been one of my favorite players in the whole league for years now. You say you want dawgs who want to win, never back down, and always play their guts out, that's him.

Yes, it seemed last year like Father Time got him, but Wash probably figures they can conserve him somewhat for the playoffs when it really matters.

But hey, we had a second round grade on J Mingo. He's a total bum who lost his job to an unknown and undrafted WR at Carolina, but that's okay, he's cheap. And we had a second round grade on him.

Its like I come on here just to get angry. Yeah no were fine with Tolbert as wr2 thanks.

Let’s see Samuels and McLaurin . Probably Ertz again at TE with Robinson running the ball . Daniels with a yr experience in the league . Probably draft a couple of OL . And Kingsbury passed on coaching the Baltic Avenues of the NFL monopoly board to take Daniels further . Not a bad career move .

Yeah Dallas needs a really strong draft and some production out of FA’s to compete in this beefed up NFCE .
More than that. We need a rebuilt DLine, 2 OLs, 2 LBs, a CB, 2 WRs, a starting RB and a backup, and a S.

Plus the WR they drafted last year looked pretty good so they probably felt pretty good about being able to replace him in house for cheap over the next 3 years.

SF gearing up for the period in their history where they have to pay their QB and acknowledge that they cant keep adding (Aiyuk and DeeBo).....something has to give when you sign your Franchise QB. Tyreek Hill, Stefon Diggs, and now Deebo, its the QB that needs to step up to the contract and needs to take further responsibility with less weapons.
