Defense isn't off of the hook

The pass rush has disappeared. They can't stop the run or quick passes. Allowed 34 points to the Jaguars. Even an win today would still leave concerns and questions about the defense.

Adding to my point. Yes Dak's INT back uped hurt this team. But there's no excuse for this for a so called elite defense. If they cannot stop the Jags, they can forget about stopping the Eagles and Niners.

at the time when we need them the most they are letting us down,infact the wheels are coming off and i cant pinpoint one major problem.

Many of us have been saying for weeks that this defense is overrated. Sure, they can create turnovers, but they're not stout. They're not "stoppers". So when they're not getting sacks and turnovers, they give up a lot of yards. And in some games, too many points.

And Quinn's play calling is getting worse, it has taken a step back...but also, the secondary injuries, LVE's injury, it's all adding up.

The defense is starting to look like it did in 2020. We’ve lost a lot of players to injury. We’re getting gashed up the middle and can’t stop perimeter plays. We’re giving up plays down the field and can’t keep opponents out of the endzone. We’ve only had one sack in our last two games. Other than the one sack we got today Parsons continues to be a non factor. His level of play has really dropped off from where it was earlier in the season.

You’re exactly right! The defense has really regressed. Even our pass rush has disappeared.

They are doubling Micah, not letting him beat us. Plus Micah is wearing down.

If I'm Quinn next week have Micah off the ball he's wearing down rushing every play.
